The old town square is magnificent. I went there about 20 odd years ago. We sat in the square with a beer and listened to a brass band play. Happy days.

The astronomical clock is fabulous, we stayed just around the corner from the square many years ago, a trip to the castle and St Vitas cathedral is a must.

It looks stunning in Prague, those sausage are fatty, even if you buy in thin slices , there is a lot of fat. Yes it’s known to be expensive in Prague. So if your not careful can turn out very costly. But it is so pretty there. Guess that’s what your paying for. Thanks for sharing .
Oh yes amazing. We stayed near the square in old town it was amazing. We also got stung with the ham. I could not believe the,price we paid. Love that potato dish and tried to replicate it when I returned to Australia. Nearly got it. Thanks so much beautiful memories and that church is just so beautiful. Anybody going to Prague should look at the Honest Guide UA-cam channel. They’ve featured meat by weight in the past and they revealed it as a complete rip off aimed at tourists. You can eat much, much cheaper and better than this in Prague. Also, Trdlenik, the spiral pastry thing is nothing at all to do with Prague - again it’s a tourist thing, no Czech national eats trdlenik.

AAAAAHHHHH Folks!!!!! Really enjoyed this!!! FASCINATING!!!!!!! Seeing an Eastern European Capital for the first time like this. Czechoslovakia that suffered so much at the hands of hitler at the start of WW2 and then straight off and imprisoned behind the Soviets' Iron Curtain after the Yalta Conference at the end of the war. A lot of suffering and deprivation. It's good to see the Czechs living freely and prospering. Such beautiful architecture. The Street Food - a definite Rip Off!!!!! The potato & cabbage dish was obviously an example of a cullinary staple from the lean years of deprivation and poverty. What a great experience you're having and more than this,.....sharing with us all❤ THANK YOU SOO MUCH FOR THIS FOLKS!!!! TRULY APPRECIATED. I know you've got enough to do finding your way around a new country etc. So appreciated all the more❤❤ I found this thrilling❤❤. Sharon you seem to have less pain today which is good to see.
