- Honestly, I can't believe this means my first superhero video is on Marvel and not DC, but I still put a lot of DC in here to be fair. I could talk about DC stuff for hours. Also, can't believe we're still waiting on a Walten Files 5 release date, I was so sure that was going to be my next video. Take care fellas. As someone who was the target audience in the 90s i love your take. The ahow reflected what was in the books at the time. As much as i love the Jim Lee / Chris Claremont line up something that reflects the change that has happened in the past dew decades would be nice. Move away a bit from this group, throw my fave gold balls in there (as gold balls maybe not egg - at least not right away)
Oh wait I forgot to mention Love the intro with a bunch of cartoons and video games.

Ok so I didnt bother to watch the entire video. I got aggravated and felt I had to make a response. When it comes to female characters and them over sexualized, I think its BS. As stated in a comment no one complains when male characters have their shirts off. None of the females in animation then, or now are over sexualized. Some are very sexy, but not obscenely so. The story lines in Young Justice seasons 3 and 4 were told very well. I know season 4 that mostly immature people didnt want to deal with depression or PTSD. Just show them beating ul the bad guys, bang bang shoot em up. Real life soliders and cops, peolle who were molested, trafficed, raped have to deal with PTSD, depression, triggers. If superhero of this calaber were real wtf do you think they would have to deal with? They would need the most therapy. Dealing with have powers or losing friends or seeing millions be hurt or die orlf natural disasters, maybe fights the villians start. Life happens, even to heroes. That was the point of season 4.

Oversexualizing female characters? Since when? The only female character that was sexualized was rogue but that barley counts since it was shown for 3-5 seconds so your argument is kinda dumb no offense and it absolutely needed a continuation I swear people need to rewatch the series before they say “it’s not necessary “
There's absolutely no oversexualizing of the female characters, like, there's minimal traits of the sort, and it's only one frame that got the iconic meme treatment, other than that, even when some girls hang out in certain episodes in bikini or casual clothing, it never felt dirty or kinky, at all. I'm sick of the argument.

She wasn’t even alive when the original show came out. Just relax. Young Justice is making new stories that might be good or might not be. X-men 97 is revamping the classic comic storylines which are tried and true. I’ve been a fan since the 80s (yes I’m that old) and I’ve read all of this storylines.
One why do you have to be old to like something 2 your so old your gonna turn to dust before the new season comes out
I’m hoping that season one picks up and then by season two it’s transitioned into something more fresh with more characters and a kind of lands where you’re talking about in something that feels both familiar but new ! There are so many amazing X men stories that have come out in the last 25 years that are too good not to explore

Well calm down You're over here trying to say that these new shows are better than the old ones No they're not at all there's a reason why these shows get backlash and there's a reason why people are going back to this show because the show had more fans because when they tried something new and didn't work My adventure was Superman moon girl and double dinosaur rise of TMNT shows that a lot of people do not like at all should never be in the same sentence as old they were better than the '90s shows No they're not because back in the day the '90s cartoons was able to sell merchandise and toys The new cartoons today can't even sell a fraction of that. Like I get that you like it but let's not over-exaggerate there's a reason why the shows of the past are more watch and more rewatchable than today's stuff cuz today's cartoon shows are trash if anything they should have made like a season 2 of wolverine and The X-Men instead

So far, it's universally loved by fans especially the people that watched the 1st 3 episodes early and apparently more screeners for upcoming episodes got put out
Maybe not Rise of TMNT but the 2012 and 03 are all better than the 1980s cartoon.
