This is sooo funny! I’ve watched it a million times and it makes me laugh! My pitbull Kaos turns his head away just like Max when he knows he’s been bad! So much character in this breed... They are the best! Need my Kaos more than ever during this crazy time! bless these awesome dogs 🐾🐾🐾❤️

Fuhq Ewe it still is the owners fault if they know their dog (any dog) is dangerous the dog should either not be alive or have constant supervision and a heavy duty leash in the back yard with a muzzle on just in case the dog gets loose.

I miss my pitbull. She was the smartest dog I ever met. I taught her all of her tricks in just a few hours. And her reaction time was instant. She could follow commands by voice and sign language.
I'm sorry for your loss. Dogs are the best creatures, I think they show us a lot of what we wish to be.

Sans The Skeleton I guess I'd say socialize early, be firm, make sure you're alpha. And teach them not to pull on the leash. Get a harness that puts pressure on their armpits, but doesn't hurt them. No choke chains, those are inhumane.
ChanMan 2802 oh and make sure to be consistent with training, I had pitbulls before and they are QUITE stubborn if inconsistent. Other than that you should socialize and you should have a very well mannered dog.

Just got my first pupper on my own (a 1.5 year old sweetie pit) and am SO glad I did. I suffer from depression/anxiety and amongst labs/retrievers/shepherds pitties were continually being listed as good ESA dogs. Her licks and cuddles always help me when I'm having a hard time- would recommend the breed to anyone looking for emotional support! The most dangerous part of her is how she thinks she's a lap dog and likes to curl around my neck like an airplane pillow!

Anyone who isn't an idiot will know that animals have personalities, same as people, but at the same time if you're a shitty pet owner then chances are you're going to end up with a shitty pet. Same thing applies to kids though, if you're a shitty parent you'll end up (likely) with shitty kids. But the fault almost always is with who was raising the animal/child...
Take the Doberman. These are specifically bred attack/war dogs, it's a race that was created exactly for those purposes. My brother had one, biggest baby in the world, it used to sleep in the bed with me when I'd go visit. I've know other people who have them and they come out the way they're raised, that's all there is to it. Same thing applies to a Pitbull or any other dog.
When I was in High School I had a big huge Labrador Retriever (he was about 125lbs) who was the biggest wuss in the entire world with people. Put other dogs around him though and things were different. My parents live in a super rural area just outside a small town ,and the dog was never caged or leashed. He could wander where he wanted. Down the street one way were 2 German Shepherds, the other way was a big ass Rottweiler. My big wuss of a Lab beat the ever loving shit out of all 3 of them at different times. But if you were to break in to the house to rob the place, if you patted him on the head he'd be like "Aight, this is good people, carry on"

In post WW2 America they were called 'Nanny Dogs' because they were so good/gentle with really young kids and were trusted with looking after them. It was only around the 80's that some choice magazine articles (Times I'm looking at you) called them vicious and they got their current bad rap.

We have a pit/lab mix and she is amazing with our 2 year old and 6 month old. They are constantly invading her space and crawling on her and she just treats them like her babies too.

pitbulls are misunderstood because of there breed but they don't know nice they are they think every pitbull is vicious its the way they have been treated if they abused and taught how to fight they are mean if you treat them good they sweeter than anything i love pitbulls
Funny thing is even ex fighting dogs are nice... Saying it's how they are raised gets good dogs from bad homes killed at the shelter.
Hi there! In my opinion, the damaging reputation is also due to the media. I’ve been saying it for years. Notice how if a dog is in the news, they’ll say “dog”... until it involves a pittie. Then they are not referred to as dogs but as “pit bulls”, and mostly only featured in the news for bad things. Rarely do we see in the news the pittie police dogs and the pits who’ve saved their family somehow, or just being lovingly adorable. So unfortunately I think a lot of people get brainwashed into thinking they’re mean (with “locking jaws!!!”) when they never spent any time with them. Which is sad, because they’re wonderful pups/family members and so many are euthanized due to BSL etc. Anyway, I appreciate these awesome videos!!! Wishing you the best!

I love pitbulls, but don't kid yourselves guys. Statistics don't lie, and statistics tell they're among the most dangerous. You can explain it all day but it won't go away. If you want to be taken seriously, accept the facts and tell what you'll do to avoid being part of the statistics.
F4c2a funny thing is that a stray mutt or a mixed breed dog which isn’t pitbull but can look like a pit mix will be marked down as a “pitbull” if it ever attacked. Some dogs look like pit mixes which aren’t pitbulls and contribute to all the dog attacks.

I love watching my two Am Staff mixes dream. They do some of the funniest shit and make some of the strangest noises. I've seen running dreams, tail wagging dreams, growling and barking dreams, chasing dreams, jumping dreams, etc.
Also, one of the reactions of smart dogs is the guilt reaction. If you have a dog that expresses shame from guilt, then you have a highly intelligent dog.

My mom had a wonderful pit bull. She liked me. However, if Lucy was sitting on my mom's lap, and I was standing next to my mom to kiss her goodbye, that dog would talk so much shit to me. I would have to tell her "Lucy, I'm not going to hurt mommie, I'm just saying goodbye." Shed talk even more shit after that! I loved that dog! And Lucy loved my son (who was 3 when she met him). Whenever he stayed over my moms, Lucy would push my mom out of bed to be closer to my son.

Though Pit Bulls are not aggressive by nature, they are simply loyal to their owners and will do anything to please them. As a result, they were mainly abused and used as fighting dogs. In the 19th and 20th century though, Pit Bulls were commonly known as "Nanny dogs" as they would be used to watch after children because of their protective instinct. They are very good care takers and one of the only reasons that people believe them to be dangerous is because in police reports people say either "a dog bit me." Or "a Pit bull bit me." And that's not fair to them.

@@joeymaterese8095 Well, I'm not saying that "All" Pitts aren't dangerous, it's that a majority of them aren't. People believe they are violent by nature and that is simply not true. In a Temperament test taken by ATTS 931 Pit Bulls were tested, and 814 passed, 117 failed. Failure in a temperament test means that the dog showed: Unprovoked Aggression, Panic with no recovery, or strong avoidance. And most of the time when someone finds an aggressive Pit Bull, it's becauae they were trained to be a fighting dog and then abandoned.

This video shows hoe sweet pitbulls actually are. They aren't mean it's the owner,the way you treat a pitbull determines the way the dog will act.if you treat it good the dog will be sweet and the dog will protect when it needs to protect but they are overall good dogs
Pitbulls are great baby sitters cause they love kids and will protect the kids from evil I know I've had 2 and never worried about my kids around the dogs cause I knew the dogs would protect the kids and not hurt them just love them as their own
