We aren't afraid of war. We are afraid of what we will do in war. It's when the geneva convention stops becoming a limit and becomes a to do list that we regret our ability to make war.
@@meistersgarage748I remember my husband (who was naturally ‘only' spectating, cough, cough) telling me about a group of squaddies from different regiments (English , Irish and Scottish) having a friendly scrap when a group of soldiers from another country tried to intervene and stop said friendly scrap. Well of course it goes without saying that the English, Irish and Scots joined together and saw off the interlopers. Then they went back to their friendly scrap. 😂 They didn’t call the Scottish Soldiers 'The Ladies from Hell' for nothing and their English and Irish army buddies were not holding their beers either. 😂
First rule of war: know your enemy. Second rule of war: know your allies abilities. Third rule of war: keep your enemies close and your friends closer.
I’m sure you meant the poolside lounger. 🤣 You have to admit we would fight amongst ourselves until the aliens turn up looking for a fight, then, we would put aside or differences and join together for an almighty scrap. After it was all over we would be back to arguing over who went to the bathroom first or got the poolside lounger. That’s humans for you. 🤣😂
The humans are pacifists trope in hfy is one I find fascinating but I do wish this telling had an MC or an ensemble cast. But it is just Humans as a whole, Galactic council, and alien species 1 2 and 3. Then the bad guys rouge empire side . A Human by name and an alien or 2 by name who ya can hang a hat on and relate too, root for, or root against would have made this a bit more fun to listen too. Still Enjoyable story
honestly i pity any alien race who may think we fear war.. we fight wars just for the sake of doing it.. we dont need a reason, war is its own reason.😂
You realize that 95% of scifi stories are ai made right? And the ones that aren't made by ai are most of the time read by an ai, tbh some of these ai stories are pretty good, not all of them though, a couple of them I wished had a part 2, like this story about an alien race that abducted a human child and was dissecting the human child alive while broadcasting it to the military ship, the general of said spaceship was the father of the kid

When Humanity decides that the Geneva Convention becomes a Checklist, that's when you know you done Fucked up!
No. You fked up when a soldier, sailor, airman, and a marine walk into a bar together.

Peace does not mean cowardice. Often times it means being so prepared to fight the other guy walks away.
The steel fist inside the velvet glove.😏
We’re peaceful, not stupid.

Get to the point! The story spends half the time repeating the same information.
Good story.

I like the stories and all that I don't care if it's AI generated I like it
Most are old stories written by humans. It's just AI reading it.
Kinda hard this one before. But good narration even tug AI obviate write most of it
Repeats the same phrases way too many times! Other than that a good story.
Is there some contest to see how many times the word "precision" can be jammed into a story?

Sounds like a rip off of Why Humans Avoid War
Looks like another AI generated story
