Today, I watched the Jujutsu Kaisen: 0 Movie! this waas such a fantastic experience. i'm so happy I waited until now to check it out. Yuta and Rika's story was so heartfelt and epic. 10/10 Movie!

Why do you pronounce geto as gito? You keep saying gito. It's ge-to. Japanese has no sharp e sounds.
fun fact: Before Gege Akutami introduced Yuji Itadori as the protagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen, Gege first featured Yuta as the protagonist in the one shot manga. The short manga was so successful that Gege got a contract from Shonen Jump to make a manga with the title Jujutsu Kaisen. Obviously, Yuji "owed" a lot to Yuta.
Last week they announced the first Key visual/Poster for Season 2 and confirmed that we will get a Gojo Past arc telling the story of their high school year and what happened back then. And then on the 25th, TOHO 10th anniversary event will be live streamed and we will get even more information about season 2, like how many chapters it will adapt, episode count or even parts/cours announcement (if what we're guessing is right) and very likely getting a trailer there. So this week is basically a big W for JJK fans
shibuya incident arc and seeing toji is all im waiting for
I'm not really hyped for Hidden Inventory arc, but Shibuya is gonna be really interesting
Fun fact yuta is actually in JJK's 2nd op i believe and if you pay close attention to the first op you can see some scenes from the movie

I loved all the callbacks to season one in this movie
Like how maki doesn't like using playful cloud because it was geto's weapon of choice.
Or how we were shown the 4 consecutive black flashes that nanami did that we were told in season 1
Or how everyone said yuta was overseas and we saw gojo visiting him abroad
There are many more but I can't remember them
What’s crazy is how they mentioned Okkotsu several times in season 1 and i DID NOT NOTICE
i had to think back HARD
They even showed him in the opening 2

To those who forgot. The 2nd year and also Todo mentioned about Yuuta in Kyoto Goodwill Event arc. Tokyo won all the points from just Yuuta alone 😁
You referring to Gojo as your dad throughout this just killed me! And I can not wait for season 2! I need more backstories! Also want to see how epic Yuta & Yuji fighting together is because I assume it's gonna happen.
Rika's voice acting was literally the BEST thing in this movie. Beyond words.
BTW Yuta and Yuji both are from Miyagi prefecture
I wanna point out that in the scene where Nanami fights, you see him perform black flash 4 times aka that is the fight where he established his record.
As a manga reader, I enjoyed the heck out of this movie when it came out in theatres. I'm glad you're enjoying as well, bro. Get ready for season ✌
Fun fact: everything from Yuta's Black Flash to the Tokyo, Shinjuku and Kyoto fights (minus Gojo's) were movie original, and Nanami's consecutive Black Flashes was probably the best thing to ever happen since it was only mentioned but never shown.

Anyway.. I believe Yuta is the only one from Jujutsu Corps who is a Special Grade sorcerer. I really like this movie a lot. Tragedy being used as your biggest weapon? Let's go! :D

The 4 special grades are Gojo, Geto, Yuki and Yuta, so Yuta is the only student but not the only sorcerer.

This might be small spoiler but very harmless. They hired Miguel to be teacher of Yuta and send Yuta to Africa whit him. Miguel was never on Getos side he was just hired to stall Gojo.

Uh.. everyone says..Gojo didn't kill him, Geto is alive because he appears in S 1anime .Well.. he's not.
Gojo did kill his best and only friend, Geto, that day (movie). In S1 anime, Geto has a patched head. That's a reason for that. He's not a human sorcerer anymore.. he is a curse.
In JJK you have to pay more attention to the details and explanations that are given by the characters . In manga I have to read twice some lines to understand the meaning behind words. So, yeah.. Geto is dead by the hands of Gojo. But "alive" as curse. (No, was not cursen by Gojo).
Yuta and Rika is dope. And.. Rika is.. She's still around. (I guess this is not a spoiler(?))
Megumi is level up already in S1 with his domain expansion.. So can't wait to see him in S2.
S2 is gonna be 🔥

The scenes with Geto..oh boy. Yuta is voiced by Megumi Ogata. And she's voiced some of my favorite characters in anime. So there's definitely a special place in my heart in that regard. This movie was wild.
Bruh should've choose a male voice actor. I read the manga before the movie, so I was disappointed that they picked a woman. Like they couldn't find a male with soft voice? Idk anything about the voice acting industry and I don't care who the voice actress is, I just want the Yuuta to be voiced by a male so he doesn't sound like a trans.

Naruto - Junko Takeuchi
Luffy - Mayumi Tanaka
Yugi (Yu-Gi-Oh) - Megumi Ogata
Shinji (Evangelion) - Megumi Ogata
Gon (Hunter x Hunter) - Junko Takeuchi
Krillin - Mayumi Tanaka
Armin - Marina Inoue
Edward (FMA) - Romi Park
Ash - Rika Matsumoto, Veronica Taylor (English voice actress)
and they're all very popular.
Just because a female voice actress voices a male character that doesn't make them "sound trans". If it did then either the character was supposed to be like that, the voice actress did a subpar job, or you're bias. In this case, the first two aren't the problem so it must be the third one.
And of course, if you don't like those series even after learning that a lot of male protagonists are voiced by females then just go watch Jojo or something:

@@드래곤원-h4j Those series you listed were not the same because I don't read their manga before watching their corresponding animations. I only watched two of the series you listed (Naruto and AOT) and their voice actresses did a great job to not sound like a trans. They sounded like male kids. In contrast with JJK, this whoever famous actress clearly did a bad job. Sounds awful for Yuuta. My man out here being a special grade but sounds like a trans she male shit.
@@jackandjill6419 my guy. just because the voice actress didn't meet your expectations doesn't mean she did a bad job. you do realize that for that voice actress to be picked, the studio had to have an audition with judges and pick out the one that they thought would fit the role best right? there are times when this doesn't work but considering Mappa's history of anime series and the fact that it fits his character design pretty well, this is a case where they did a decent job at picking the roll.
Just because the voice doesn't sound like what you expected and 'you read the manga beforehand' doesn't mean the voice actress automatically did a bad job. If I were to say the voice actress for Naruto did a bad job because I read the manga beforehand and the voice didn't sound like what I expected, does that mean she actually did a bad job? No, because that's my opinion and the fact is, many other people like her take on Naruto. Likewise, you saying she did a bad job doesn't mean the voice actress did a bad job because there are many other people who enjoyed her take on the character.

We don't ever get the details, but there is a character page for Rika with some info about her. From what we can tell, she wasn't lying when she said the past 6 years were the happiest she ever had.

To the replies yuji is definitely the better protagonist, especially in vol 0 yuta is not that great of a character he's pretty mehh though he's really great in the manga rn, while yuji starts of generic but they peel the layers back and everything with junpei and especially in shibuya yuji has become such a great character definitely better than yuta
So remember in season when itadori and the gang went to the correctional institution to fight the cursed womb? Well one of the people Itadori was trying to save was someone who hit a kid while driving so the theory is that he's the one that hit Rika.
But that doesn’t match up with the timeline, the inmate would have been at least 12 years old or younger during the accident . As much as I love theories, this one is reaching.

This is just a random thought, but does Rika’s face look like that cause she was ran over by a car?
That actually might be why because that scene where Yuta was carrying Maki and the kids out of the veil and Rika (human version) shows up the top of her head is missing.
