- Fishing the beach w/ Live Shrimp and other BIG baits for whatever bites in Florida! What kind of fish would be around a beach like this?? It's a bit stormy around us but that might fire up the fish and make for some good fishing.. Will I finally catch one of the fish I'm after? Will something BIG bite one of our baits? I did not expect for this to happen..

I have been trying to catch a fish off the beach for approximately 4-5 years now. Not the jetty, not the pier, the beach! The more determined i am, the more the skunks come out😂! Good vid!

When storms brew here in Alabama I always see boats go out in them to fish before they hit. Fish go crazy before storms. I cannot explain it.

Lightning is terrifying and damn it always seem like the fish are blowing up right when you need to get the hell off the beach!
Unless you have extra money to spend, I feel like a half shrimp works nearly as well as a whole shrimp.

In the UK 🇬🇧 we just throw a wet towel on the sting Ray and wrap the tail up. It’s best not to panic! Ours rarely go more than 60lb off the shore in summer….big fat old girls that take you for a ride up tide!

Rainy weather is usually good for me. So long as its not a legit downpour and it isnt lightning I go out and it rarely disappoints

Yeah like a few other comments mentioned flip the ray on it’s back it’s a lot easier. I step on its tail so the tail isn’t swinging around

Be careful handling seatrout if you're going to release them. They have a slime coat and touching them will make the coat come off and expose the fish to disease. Nice day at the beach, thanks for sharing.

One way that I handle stingrays is to flip them over they stop moving when they get flipped over😊

Fish have very sensitive skin make sure you run towards the water to get the fish instead of dragging them across the sand it will hurt their skin

You can pick the rays up by the "nostrils" on top of their body, using your fingers and holding them away from you. You can flip em over and remove the hook much easier then and even carry them back to the water that way. Just be careful and don't stick in too far. Usually I do that and hold the tail down with my other foot. Its the way I see most people handle them and how I was taught. Rays on the beach can be a pain when they dig in but you can catch some monsters. I got one over 100lbs from the beach once! Wouldn't call it an epic fight because it loved to just suction itself to the sand and I'd have to wait for it to start moving again to bring it in.

Ever since I can remember my grandfather always brought a sheet of plywood to the beach, for my entire life I thought it was him being a gentleman and bringing grandma a clean floor. I just found out last week it's for the stingrays.
Flip the stingray over so its eyes are in the sand and mouth in the air
or just cut em up for bait and throw em back out there that way

I know you have a boot on but the way you release the fish, dear lord, you'd get stomped here if you pulled that garbage. It's 2023 not 1953.
You really need to learn how to handle trout…. I guarantee all the trout you have caught in previous videos are dead. Dragging them across the sand, throwing them in the water, and grabbing them with your dry hands hurts them. The trout population in Florida is already hurting, please do better…

Fishfinder rig is a great rig. Up here in New England I've been using Asian shore or fiddlers on it. Started catching these bigger shrimp in my traps last year. Believe they're an invasive brown shrimp. But they'd work I bet.

Here in Hawaii we put heavy duty bells on our poles that start ringing when the fish bites-might wanna pick some up especially if you have to bolt back to your car when those lightning storms roll in 😂-at least it’ll confirm if you got a fish on from the sound of ringing instead of having to reel a lil first before you realize there’s something on.. You should try a food chain fishing video, start off with shrimp or minnows and go up the chain

Out in California we catch tons of giant bay rays. To unhook them I just flip them over and that seems to keep them immobile enough to be unhooked.
By reciprocate do you mean that you are going to give the luck you had back to the beach?
