Elliieeify they wanted to make the volturi look older even though they freeze at the age they are turned by putting in different contacts than the Cullen's to help people believe they are over 1000s of years old. Carlisle may only be 23 but the way he presents himself shows he acts older than 23 as you would if you had been around over 300 years

You all may not believe this but back in 2008 or was it 2009 I went to Atlanta Georgia's DragonCon and I got to meet him in person it was early in the morning wherever I guess everybody was in the Leonard nimoy and William shatner line and I went and talked to him he invited me to sit down and talk with him he didn't have nothing to do and nobody to talk to he asked me to and why I like Twilight I said I like the the cullens he asked why I go I don't know they're just an interesting bunch I'd like to know what goes on in that house when they're not rescuing Bella what in the world do they do in their love to be a fly on the wall on that house

And then we started talking about Twilight and what I like him right in like and we came up with a really great idea in Peter's words this could revamp Twilight I simply said the first four books is about Bella what if after that you flipped it around and make it about a boy say Bella's cousin who buy twist of fate accidentally gets to hang out and live with a family of vampires Peter's mouth dropped he's like my gosh that's never been done before he's human and he's living with the cullens and we spent I think about an hour talking and I was keeping Peter and stitches I was making him laugh and he said you know what you need to tell this idea to Stephanie Meyer I think she would really love this idea Peter said now if you are curious about the idea I wrote it up as a story in Wattpad the story is called Twilight the new storm
