I find all of these things help in any creative endeavor. 😊 A few of your tips really resonated, and one I'll mention is the "Tidy up tip" I do a studio reset and sometimes a purge in between every project. It really helps declutter my brain. 🧠 Thank you for sharing!

I’m so glad you enjoyed it! I like the tips you shared, too. I’ll make a mental note to add them to my creative resistance “bag of tricks”. 😄

This video also motivated me to use words like “itty-bittiest” more often 😊

Love all of these tips. One thing I like to do when I'm struggling is to look at an object randomizer, so I can just try sketching whatever random thing it throws at me. Or looking at writing prompt lists, but using those ideas to spark drawing/painting thoughts. It often means trying something new, and sometimes turns me on to subject matter I never realized I had an interest in.

That’s a really great idea! Thank you for sharing! I think I’ll try that next time I feel stuck. 💖

Hello hello! The husband of Mountain June here. Loved your video on 17 tips. I've finally started in the art world after thinking for the longest time that I could never create. Now I've joined you and June with my own channel and look forward to learning some things from you. Just subscribed. Thank you Claire!

I’ve heard the best thing to do is nothing, literally allow yourself to be bored doing absolutely nothing. There have been studies on this and the ones who were bored for a lengthy time were more creative and unique when coming to do anything afterward.
