These lights used in the video are great because they have a clear waterproofing material on top of the lights that actually act as an insulator so its not conductive. I agree! 20x easier and faster than soldering but I must say, soldering is longer lasting than these connectors. Overtime you might need to crimp down on the terminals again for the connectors because they've gotten loose on me after 8 months. tip for drilling a cleaner hole. drill from one side until the tip of your bit pokes thru the back side, then drill from the other side, using the small hole as a guide. question for you, why the gloves? is it not ok to handle the LED strips?
Okay so we don't HAVE to do the whole cutting 90 degree thingy its just so that it looks more presentable then the first version where you did the loop type thinghy ?
Buy yourself a staple gun and staple it .... Put a piece of cloth (5mm wide X 15mm long) over LED tape shoot a staple each side through the material parallel to the LED tape NOT across it!! ....should you want to take it off there is no damage to the fabric as the staple leaves two pin holes Places that will never be seen use a good fabric glue to glue the LED strip

Sick setup! I got the same bed and I'm gonna do almost the same thing. I was wondering if it's sometimes too bright for you, when the rest is all blacked out and if you think it would be wise to not go over to the other side via the end of the bed (since you can't see it there anyway), but instead go back with the strip on the upper ledge underneath the bed. Anyway it looks really good and I'm looking forward to my version of it :)
I want to attach led to a bed, but I dont own the bed. What is stopping me from buying wooden planks and attaching the led to those wooden planks instead and sliding them under the bed? So it's not permanently attached to the bed.

Honestly, I would need to see your bed. To go all the way around like I did in this video, a hole was necessary since I'm using 1 controller. If you dont have the means of making a hole, try installing led lights only around the headboard of the bed. That would also look very nice. There is a possibility you can use 1 controller to go around the headboard and then another controller to go around under the bed frame so no holes are necessary. Yes, my frame was wooden. It's just a black finish. The adhesive should stick on but if it doesnt, there are little clips that you can use to secure the lights if needed. I left links to the products in the videos description🙂Thanks for watching!

This is an amazing tutorial and I had no idea they made 90° connectors for led strips! I will definitely be picking some up so I can do this to my bed frame. Are there any recommendations for any extra kind of adhesive I csn use to make sure they stay stuck to the bed. Ive always had trouble keeping it stuck! ☹️
My head board is wrapped in a soft fabric unlike your wood frame. Do you have any tips for this? I can wrap the lights under the bed which is wood but I have a ton of extra left over near the head of the bed

You can buy an extension with a wire and skip a part of the bed this way you can go around the frame

There are extensions you can buy on EBay and Amazon. They are wire so can go round bends very easily.
