Check the surveillance cameras to see who the clerk received the money for the ticket from and who the clerk actually gave the purchased ticket to.
Apparently that's standard protocol in California for a jackpot of this size.
Not until attorneys and courts have stuck their hands in the pot
Baby I think they’ve thought of that 🤣🤣🤣
You would have thought they would do that right away
He’s dumb and doesn’t know any better, don’t mind him.
My own mother stole a 10 thousand dollar lottery ticket from me. My name was on the ticket but i did not sign it. Always sign your tickets
Wow, so Sorry!😞
its such an injustice, a crime, a war crime, a crime against humanity, an atrocity what your mother did.
That’s not a mother that’s a thief.
What a witch 🧙♀️
If your name was on the ticket, how could she cash it? So saying you did not sign it when you actually did is beyond ridiculous!
Can’t they check the cameras?
Rivera attorney attorney have requested for the lottery commission to release the video multiple times but they have not cooperated to do so.
This is genius. Random guy: “You stole my $2 billion, but no worries, I can settle for a percentage” lol
yeah what a crook. I'm the one he stole it from :(
A good question is why he didn't come forward earlier
👆🏼sign the back of the ticket!
Tell no one.
If there's video footage of the person buying the ticket, I'm not sure why it would be difficult to determine the true winner.
yes, it was investigated and the guy is a liar. wasn't stolen
Yes, but the lottery commission has refused to release the video per the request of Rivera attorney multiple times. What are they afraid of by releasing the video this would put an end to this mess.
Check the camera -who bought the ticket
Right, however the lottery commission refuses to release the video upon multiple requests by Rivera attorney. What are they afraid of?
SIGN YOUR TICKETS WHEN YOU BUY THEM
Actually I think that was my ticket that was stolen
No I been looking for these guys they stole it from me
@@stoptheviolence3358 no no no it was actually mine
Pull all fingerprints on winning ticket. Investigation solved.
Cameras track every purchase
Is the original buyer legal? Maybe he was stuck in a tough spot.
Possession of the ticket is huge.
Not sure how their commercial security cameras work, but many versions just loop if they have a hard drive, and erase the old footage after a week or 2 or 3... hope they have this footage on camera still.. because if they don't, I lost my ticket outside of that store too!
There should be video of the right one buying the ticket!
Lottery commission refuses to release the footage.
That's why you NEVER tell.
I hope the rightful owner enjoys the winnings. Congratulations to them. They know who they are
I have to take a wild guess on the description of this reggie guy
That's why you sign your name on it, before you ever show it to anyone. That way, no one but the real winner, gets the money.
this person will need to watch his butt no matter what
LOOK AT THE SELLING-OUTLETS CLOSED CIRCUIT CAMERAS.
This is what alot of money does, it brings out greed in people.
That’s Ridiculous
Let The Trial Begin And Let The Jury Decide Guilty Or Not Guilty Verdict
Just call it the California Powerball, it's a scam!!
Maybe the Jose is an illegal immigrant and got scared to cash it. Then Mr Reggie played a fast one on him.
Perhaps
Wait, wait… it’s my ticket Reggie!
I could never live as a guy who lost their $2 billion ticket. He should have taken up the 50/50 offer at least!
He should of never told his boy friend .
I don’t know what he’s talking about !!!! He stole my ticket
thanks you very much honey❤❤❤❤❤
No. It's my ticket 🤑
What really doesn't make sense to me is that he claims that his ticket was stolen 4:48 the same day that he purchased so according to his statement the drowning hadn't been done yet
So who wants to steal a ticket that hasn't played yet with out knowing that is a winning ticket?
Because he is not saying that his ticket was stolen after the drowning
The ticket was bought earlier in the day before the drawing on November 7 2022. "Reggie' had asked Rivera before the drawing of the numbers if he had bought tickets. RIvera bought several tickets along with the winning ticket. I believe the winning ticket was a quick pick. Rivera showed the tickets to Romero where he took them and retreated to his room and never returned the tickets to Rivera. Remember the the drawing of the numbers where the following morning around 6-7am on November 8 due to a securtiy glitch somewhere in in the midwest. The way Rivera found out about the winning ticket was there was alot of commosion at the gas station there was police, helicopters flying over the neighborhood Rivera lived close by at the time so he heard and seen ppl flockin over to the gas station. Rivera called Romero numerous times and he would not answer his cell phone. Until he was confronted that night at home. Rivera kept asking Romero for the ticket but refused to return it back this went on for days. That is where the blackmail comes in where Reggie first told RIvera that he had lost the ticket then it was not a winner and even threaten to destroy it. Later in the week Romero told Rivera that he would only return the ticket back was if they split the winnings. This went on for days. Where Rivera had enough of Romero and contacted local law enforcement and the lottery commission and made reports this was November/December. Rivera even when to 2 local lottery offices in Van Nuys, CA and Sante Fe Springs, CA. the first office did really helped all they would tell Rivera we will get back to you. Next Rivera had gone to the lottery of in Santa Fe Springs, CA. He explained the situation and even pleaded with the LC to review the video of the gas station. This time they gave him a lottery claim form for him to fill out and return it back to them. So the LC was aware of the "stolen" because the day of the winner anoucement even the lottery female stated that there was an issue with the ticket and they needed to go through the normal vetting process and had to add a bit of more security to verify it was really Castro that purchased the ticket Rivera didnt even know who Castro was until the day of the announcement of the "winner". Now that RIvera has hired the attorney after the annoucement of the winner the lawsuit was filed as he was not getting any help from the LC. Rivera attorney have requested multiple times to release the video for them to view it and the lottery commission has refused as of today. What is the lottery commission afraid of if they release the video. This would put an end to this mess.
It's the person who has the ticket
Reggie fucked up if he gave that ticket to someone to cash for him
lol.
Greed....see...
"Reggie" or Urachi Romero was recently released from county jail in August 22 2022 due to THEFT and domestic violence and has a long criminal history (public information). Romero states in a interview that he saw the ticket etc and also said that a friend/relative of Castro was over the house. Which is FALSE but Romero on his social media profile had Castro family as friends but he has since deleted his profile.
Easy enough Camera footage
I'll tell you now Reggie stole the ticket.
All I had to hear was his name.
It was stolen
Split it. 🤷
✌👍✌
I thought possession is nine tenths of the law. Not to mention if he didn’t sign it then he’s stupid and doesn’t deserve it anyways
Lol stop gambling you can't win
Are they illegals?
The grouvenmet will be a winner like no evidence norther of them win trust me lol
It's always Reggie.. 🤦
BS
With a $2B jackpot, I would take the Annuity option. Instead of him getting $1.26B after taxes over 29 years, he got approx. $635 Million lump sum, stupid decision. Another dumb mistake by Catro, aside from not signing and making a copy of the ticket after he knew he won.
@law and crime network Do you always have cotton mouth? Don’t you keep a glass of water to sip?
This story don’t make any sense at all. How then Edwin Castro got hold of the ticket? He should be jailed for this.
That’s why u always sign in the back put or Adress to and phone be to
Yes indeed . dumb dumb when one doesnt sign the back of the ticket. Hard to prove especially if they cant see the face of who bought the $ 2b ticket
Very good! Here is my two videos to support his case:
