I have been a longtime leatherman user. I was slow to upgrade to the wave from my pst, rebar, and 300 series. But once I had one, the outside usable tools made me a believer in the wave series. 2 months ago I purchased the arc, and quickly became my favorite with all outside access tools. If you can afford it, buy it. If you can’t afford it, leatherman has many other tools to choose from. Thanks for your thoughts on this multitool.
Very nice to see such interesting thoughts from you. It's too bad that this video is definitely going to be buried in the large quantity of Leatherman Arc content that is flooding the internet - and will be for the next year. Interesting take!
I bent the spring even more on the micro driver so that it doesn't fall off. It's totally locked in now and it takes a just bit more effort to pull it out.
I don;t things this one is good for me. I have the Surge and the X-Tool. But i am always with my BiBury that i have found may be not better but Also... and more versatils wich i like a lot because i am all trades workers and can use any kind of standart bits from every brands.
Victorinox Spirit for comfort, Leatherman Wave for the variety of blades, Leatherman Surge for real heavy duty stuff, and the Leatherman Arc for ease of tool access. Swiss Army Champ for EDC because it is legal just about everywhere and non threatening to bystanders. The Arc is good enough to double for any of the other knives, so if you can only have one, then the Arc is the one to go for. Locking blades are essential for safety with a working knife.
I love the concept but i cant get used to the magnet based mechanisms. I returned my free p4. Im too attached to my charges and surges. I do feel like im missing out on that magnacut though.
Lots of people are calling for a surge with magnacut. And seriously, with this guy, I hardly carry anything else anymore. It’s just so convenient and versatile. Let’s get a writing campaign going to push for a surge with magnacut.
Thanks for your opinion. very rational and thoughtful. I have a Surge which I keep in my car, especially for trips. My Arc I keep with me most of the time. Parallel with what you said. Nice video

They need a Surge with upgraded steel so badly
That would be a seller, I think.

Thank you. This is the nature of a platform that has so many creators. Hard to stand out.

Highly overpriced for what it is. Don't do it. You will have buyer's remorse.
Totally fair. Like I said, I got a healthy discount making it worth it for me. But that’s not available to everyone.
Nope I'm enjoying😂
What do u think it missing serrated blade
It is missing one and it doesn’t bother me. I like what they replaced it with and I would take a straight edge over a serrated any day.
Yea, I never use my serrated blade on my charge really wanna do a 91 mm sak scissors swap for it. I did the rebar awl swap on the scissors
