That was awesome! Great footage even with no sound. Hemi Under Glass looks like he put on a heck of a show. How bout that Daytona as a tow vehicle!! Yikes!
Love the recap from "the Land of NED".... was in VN during the late 60s & 70, so I missed this... But, what's drag racing without the sound? I understand that not everyone had audio in their movie cameras back then.... but, still sad not to hear them... especially the fuelers... back when two guys working in a gas station (turning wrenches) could afford to build a fueler or AA/Gas dragster and go racing nearly every weekend.... and 100+ fuelers would show up to qualify for a 64 car field!! Ahhhh, the "good ole days"... before Corporate money showed its ugly presence and NHRA turned all out grass roots drag racing, into a multi - million dollar drag racing ENTERTAINMENT Business.

All those people behind the dragsters... This film has no sound. What? I said, this film has no sound! What? I can't hear what you're saying! :D
A lot of those shots ARE NOT NE Dragway! in the beginning of vid.... Cool though.....
