She’s Albanian and her name is Entela Fureraj. They forced her to change her name in Greece... because.. they’re Greeks
Moon Safari No they didn't. She had to leave Albania because of the civil war very early. She doesn't even speak Albanian anymore and she has grown up in Greece. Yes, her heritage doesn't change and it's horrible how she had to hide it to be successful, but she is naturalized Greek. Shqiparet i duan me zor te vetet por duhet ta pranoni per ate qe eshte si kengetare, jo vetem faktet qe te te pelqejn ty. She's proud to be Albanian BUT to have grown up in Greece as well. Stop trying to start a conflict. Both countries should be proud af of her.
Unknown Anon 1. She is Albanian with a Greek passport, end of story. 2. She lived in a horrible backwards Greek society and discriminated against (remember Greece at that time was a count that was living off charity from the EU so it was nice to live there but the people are not nice). 3. She should know move to Albania or somewhere else in the world for eg. Australia and become a naturalised Australian and live a happy life.
Moon Safari She left Albania at a young age and literally lived her entire life in Greece. Y'all are so patriotic, but she's denied having Albanian heritage literally until someone exposed her, and even then she keeps saying she loves Greece. Shqiparet e dun po ajo s'na do ne kushedi. Dhe me arsye. Tkisha nejt un greqi krejt jeten time, as mu sdo me plaste. Leje qe ajo sdo me e humb audiencen qe ka atje. Stop trying so hard to claim this performer when she's obviously a product of both countries, and even that is the max level of contribution I can give to Albania. She's had to live through terrible xenophobia her entire life and you're not making it better.
Moon Safari She shouldn't move to Albania because she's worked hard to gain an audience in Greece, and Albania is in a terrible economical state, full of corruption and injustice. Albanian politics and Albanian culture are not the same thing. You can hate your government but love your identity and culture. When you live in another country you entire life, it grows on you, and Greece has obviously grown on Eleni because she says she loves the country. She's living a happy life already, she doesn't need to come back to Albania (which is a terrible idea) or go to Australia to live a happy life lmao. Stop making her seem more passionate about having Albanian heritage than she is, and look at how things REALLY are.

I've been a fan of Eleni for years. I've also met her some years ago. She is so kind and talented. I'm so glad she is internationally famous now.
Evangelia I'm so sad that many Greek haters say that she thinks she is a Diva, and that she is very spoiled etc. But at the interviews she shows that she is a very simple, hilarious, and indeed talented person. I personally think that she is the queen of Eurovision this year!
Ioannis Kyprianou Yeah. I really think that nobody can judge the others by their looks or jobs. She doesn't behave like a diva at all. She is stunning and beautiful and talented and.. omg! I'm so excited for her. I haven't heard all the songs that are going to be included in the competition but I'm pretty sure Elenis' act is unique because this song is catchy and the stage will be on fire. I see so many Greeks that drag her because of the quality of Fuego and I'm definitely very disappointed with them. Eleni has definitely released many quality songs (mostly her ballads I think) and mostly hits that are are written in Greek. Even though Fuego has English lyrics I think it suits her perfectly because her accent is good and the song brings some sexy vibes that lead you to dance with.
