    Dipset represented to me the exact point where Rap Music actually became real Rap Culture. These dudes changed how people dressed, how people spoke, etc. Undeniably one of the best rap groups to ever do it.

    Jimmy wasn’t always the best rapper but we respected him because he was so fly man. He the reason everyone in the industry switched from baggy to fitted jeans. And he bought the street/ rock wear gothic look to the game. He the reason why Rocky could come in the game and be respected for his drip. Jim was wearing Rick Owens with Neon Pelle coats . It’s funny because I’m 42 and I lived in New York and Chicago but never saw all these BMX people listening to hip-hop like that. In fact where we’re all these bmx crews?     I'm from California and used to only listen to West Coast rap as a kid. That changed in 03 when I stole my cousins (Shout out to Dave. I stole it when he was on deployment lmao) Diplomatic Immunity CD and that shit changed my life. It is the top reason why NY rap from 90s to early 2000s is still one of my favorites to this day.
