Oh my word -- gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!!! I can't wait to try these. I think what makes them so lovely is the burnishing, the way it just turns the petals under. I love them!! Thank you for the tutorial.
I love it when you make your flowers Fiona, I love that flame thrower of yours and it is a better idea than using the candle to singe the edges, thanks again for sharing I will be giving these ones a try...I had never thought of scolloping the edges like that and it is so easy and makes the flower look so pretty. thankyou again you are such a talent ♥♥♥♥
No, its the gathering that makes them look stunning, you have to gather enough material for the folds to gather properly :).I use about 18 inch strips to get the right amount of folds. I agree they are really gorgeous and will look stunning adorning anything, handband, purse, dress wristband etc :) xx
Oh my word. The BEST ones I have seen of ALL of yours and on the internet.Yet they look so time comsuming.I would have NEVER guessed not doubled layered and hand stitched for each layer. You OUT DID YOURSELF OH THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!Here's sending (((SUNSHINE))) in your heart and soul today and love always.
I love making those flowers! They are so therapeitic and relaxing to make! A little peace and quiet and making something pretty well worth the time invested! Very beautiful Fi!! Love the colors! Hugs! Linda
Make one of them 1.5 inches wide and the other 2 inches wide, it makes a perfect flower and looks so professionally made. EVERYONE can make these no matter how long one has been crafting :) (Thats for anyone reading these comments) xx

Hi Mary, the material I cut at 18 inches long. Cut two of this length and one should be 2 inches wide white the other 1.5 inches wide. Hope this helps :) Hugs Fi xx
They are Gloria, the secxret is to get the right amount of gather so that the material folds correctly around the flower and if the stitching is equal, that helps too :) Fi xx
