I've been here since the "how did knuckles knock the chaos emeralds out of super sonic" video and I loved every single video. I am glad and proud this channel has gotten this far.
I just picked up the K.O. edition of the game I'm actually super frickin excited!!!
I'm getting classic edition plus the Vinyl. Was seriously thinking about getting the KO edition

@@pixlpuk3 same, I like collecting retro stuff. I was gonna get the KO edition just for the cassette tape alone
Plus I play guitar and piano and thought the custom picks looked great
I got the classic as well mainly because the k.o was a bit expensive and I don't play drums or guitar lol but I'm gonna save up for the switch case.
My friends and I had a game night and we played this on the hardest difficulty beginning to end in 1 sitting (with a lot of breaks after every level of course). It was honestly the most fun I had. Back in 2010 I moved out of state and we did play this shortly before I left and it was the most fan I had replaying it with that same group of friends.
I played through the whole game with my brothers via co-op. The glitch we ran into the most was sometimes one of us would not be able to go through a door, blocking us from entering the store or progressing the game.
@@Frieowksf1293 I had the same thing happen way back on the Xbox 360 but I never encountered any glitch in this port.
My friends and I played online and kept having to replay the first level because of weird desync issues. We decided to just save up enough for Scott's late fees and maxed out one of our characters with the super cheap upgrades ($4.95 for 10 in each stat!) That one character carried us through to the end on Supreme Master difficulty. It was glorious.
That happiness and excitement at getting a code is just too wholesome! Happy for you, dude. Last year's River City Girls felt like a spiritual sequel to this. It's weird to now have both games side-by-side on the same machine. The online though? Glitches hard! It could not keep me and my friend in sync and we kept getting soft locks where the game wouldn't progress.

tip: in Wallace's shop in the first level you can get extra lives by buying the first thing

I've seen your videos a few times on my recommended list, and didn't bother to look until just recently...and I am so happy for you getting this review copy. I love this game; it is one of my favorite games of all time. And your gushing just...it makes me smile. Me, the guy who, on the first day, put it on Supreme Master difficulty as Scott to grind up to pay the late fees and max out my character. I'm THAT nimrod. :P

Did you know? If you input the konami code, you get up to $20 (or $50, I'm not sure) at the cost of your health (so make sure to get some chewing gum, the cheapest health item)
This is a way easier way, to grind for money
Also, there's a Subspace (super? Idk) Highway/shortcut, basically right before the snowball fight, in the first area. Go through this, and you basically have an easier access to the shopping district
Also, just be on a lookout for stars in general
Also also, in the subspace highway part of the final boss GRAB THE SWORD

Hey idk if you knew but there’s actually cheat codes in this game activated by button combos like the older games like the konami code there’s one extremely similar to it that takes one life but gives you 50 coins so as long as you have a snack before you do it you can keep on grinding to pay the late fees in the video store then keep grinding to max out your stats

All the in-game modifier codes still work, such as Blood Mode, Power Love, Nobel Sacrifice, etc.
I believe the 2-same character code works too, haven't tried it yet.

My super special edition of SoR4 finally shows up 8 months later and now they got me again!
Buckled down since the 'What happened to Sonic & Knuckles' vid.
Haven't regretted my decision to subscribe for a single moment.
So their's a way to lvl up your character and raise state all the way on the first lvl. While in the shopping district go and buy a coffee that will resurrect you, then go out I do this code. While holding the jump button press up up down down left right left right block you will die but $50 worth of coins will pop out. When you resurrect from the coffee grab the coins, you can keep doing this code again and again till you get the $504 to pay Scott's late fees and then you can buy all the Stat boost that are very cheap.
Fun fact! If you're playing on the XB1 or PS4 version of the game, try punching in the codes from the original version... every single one still works!! Even the ones that are useless now like the ones to unlock the extra modes

I think of this as more of a Paul Robertson game than a Scott Pilgrim game. There's just a lot of references to his own work in the game that are completely detatched from the scott pilgrim comic and movie
