Size 58 is too small, squeezes on my temples. The 62 however is not available in the wrap around ear option. I ride a motorcycle and don't want them flying off if I turn my head. Any solution to this?

I have question for rayban fans. The outdoorsman: was there an outdoorsman with the brow bar and cable sides that came out that was smaller and just looked leaner and meaner than the version you can get now? I was in awe of guys that owned these in the eighties and the ones you can get now look bigger and softer. Would love to know from some rayban fans.
Hey Gents.. You guys said the 135mm temple length is adjustable.. any chance you could explain how it can be adjusted smaller/longer? Cheers and thanks in advance!
Hey Justin! This is a great catch. I believe Rob was referring to the nose pads when he said the frame is adjustable. I see the confusion coming right after discussing temples, but it looks like he was just pointing out another fit feature to consider on the Aviator. The adjustable nose pads are really flexible and help to perfect the fit. Thanks for your question and allowing us to clear this up!
Irrelevant. You can have the same circumference in hat size if your head gets narrower on the x-axis and wider on the z-axis, but glasses frame size is mostly concerned with the x-axis.
Hi Eduard! That really depends on your head size and how you like your sunglasses to fit. if you consider yourself in the average head size, I'd recommend the 58 eyesize. Hi Rob, I would like to know how is the size of RB aviator 62 compared to that of Oakley Double Edge. I have quite a large head, even the RB aviator 62( temple-to-temple = 146mm according to your video) is a little bit narrow for me since I feel my temples are pressed. Do you think Oakley Double Edge would be a better choice?
The Double edge is wider and more wrapped compared to the RB Aviator. The Double edge designed for people with bigger heads so we definitely think the Double Edge will be a better frame choice.
All of the aviators showcased in this video are flatter. There are a small number of Ray Ban aviators that have some wrap, but the majority of them are pretty flat.
Hey Guys - How are aviators suppose to fit? It looked like both of you picked the ones that were basically the width of your face. I ask because the 58mm is a tiny bit narrower than my head, but I feel like the 62mm would be a little wider than my head. Not too sure which direction to lean
Hi there! If you're in between sizes, I think it comes down to personal preference. I would recommend going for the 58 unless you're specifically aiming for an oversized sunglass. The Aviator is one of those styles where you can achieve the oversized look with a bigger size, but a more "proper fit" shouldn't extend past your face width. Hope that helps!
Hi Scott! If the 62 eyesize is too large, you can try taking the 58 to an optician for an adjustment. They might be able to adjust the temples to be a more comfortable fit!

I think it would be extremely useful to give the people that demo the glasses temple sizes, like the distance between my temples is about 110mm, I wear a 52mm Randolph Engineer Avaitor because any bigger looks stupid, I mean hey they are supposed to look good as well as be comfortable right? I wish I could size up because I feel the design of the 55mm is better but it just ain't gonna happen, temple distance really can help with picking glasses, if your temple is 110mm, look at 52mm lenses plus approx 18mm bridge, that is a total of 122mm. If you know your approx sizes you can have educated guesses and move up or down from there. The reading glasses I wear are a Ray-Ban Frank 51mm and also a Ray-Ban 6444 and I think these are both 51mm. I find it hard to find glasses that are difference but suit me.
HI! Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment! Sounds like you're describing the 'Frame Width' rather than temple distance. 'Temples' usually refers to the arms on a set of glasses. When speaking of temple distance, we're referring to the length of the temple arm from where it connects to the frame front to the end that wraps around or angles down behind the ear. Frame width is a very useful tool when it considering frame size, which is why Sportrx created our SFW (SportRx Frame Width) measurement system to help anyone find the perfect fit when shopping online. Click on the link below to learn more about this measurement 👇. It can be found on every frame page for comparative sizing. Hope this helps! ua-cam.com/video/MGTuNILZVzE/v-deo.html

The temple length on the Oakley Sliver XL and RB Aviator 62 are the same at 140mm. The RB 62 is a bigger frame overall, so the Sliver will have a smaller fit.

If we're discussing the New Wayfarer RB2132, the largest is a 58 eyesize. Here's a video that goes over all the different Wayfarers and their sizes!: ua-cam.com/video/aVqslSwh3Vo/v-deo.html
Informative video, thanks!
Thank YOU, Glad you enjoyed it!
Can we still buy these frames?

Some collectors items right there! 😎
Hi from Qatar 🇧🇭
Hello 😊

@@sportrxeyewear You are right, sorry my bad, I was looking for the frame-width measurement and I was asking that you mentioned it in your videos so I/we have an idea of how our temples compare to those who try them on in the videos. The video you linked is fantastic and I think a lot of people overlook this but it is so useful. However, as I said, I would love it if you included the measurement of the people in your videos.
how much

Helpt a lot thanks
Glad to hear it!
Hi!
Im thinking of getting a pair if Oakley Sliver XL, how would you say the fit of them is compared to RB aviator 62 that i usually use?
Temple length is usually my problem...
The temple length on the Oakley Sliver XL and RB Aviator 62 are the same at 140mm. The RB 62 is a bigger frame overall, so the Sliver will have a smaller fit.
the guy with glasses is the same who works in ''wayne's world''?
Excellent!
Hi, I have the Small Aviator, RB 3044 Small L2848 52 black colour! because I have a small face and they fit me well and I'm happy :)
3:20 ngl I think the 62 looked best for his face size/shape. 🤷♂️

want to know the ideal size for ray ban aviators? watch topgun with tom cruise.
that's how it looks, neither too big nor too small in relation to your face.
Personally, I find those who wear too big a waist with a thin face look ridiculous, but that's just my opinion.
Понял одно, дужки не должны быть вовнутрь, значит что большие. И идеале должны слегка быть отогнуты, тогда будет значить, что размер мой.
Звучит правильно! Спасибо за комментарий!
I also bought 62 size. I have a big head. Well, i hope the other head, too. :D
🍌
Welp, that was funny..
Thank you ❤❤
You're welcome 😊
So helpful, many thanks...
Thanks for tuning in!
Should have stated your height, weight and hat size to give viewers a better idea of fit.
Would like to also see a video on all the different colors of frames/lenses for the rb 3025's.
Hey Chad! Eyeglass Tyler is 5'11, 175 lbs with a 7 1/2 hat size!
There are so many size, frame color & lens combinations for this frame that they wouldn't all fit on the table! Click on the links below to view all options...

I don't think the X-Smalls look that bad. I have always liked them. Don't like the bigger ones.
Thanks for tuning in!
I totally agreed... I havea pair of 52s they look great.
Thanks...nice information 👍
Thats crazy how size make the diffirence
Really good video. Thanks
Thanks for watching, Jino!
Nice sunglass
Thnx Good Information
They barely show the 55 and I thought that looked the best.
The smallest size looks so bulky on me lol, I have a thin tiny face
Have you ever tried the Ray-Ban RB3362 Cockpit? It is inspired by the Aviator but has a shallower lens. Could be a good option if you feel the Aviator is too large!
I think I might need the 58
Hi Markece! 58 is considered a Ray-Ban "standard" size which means most people fit within this size! That's a great size to try. Thanks for watching!
@@sportrxeyewear Your welcome. Thanks for making this video those are some nice looking sunglasses
did not say what color
Hi Richard! Was there a specific frame you would like to know the color of?
The cyanogen glass colour looks legit, together with golden frame, a bit show off, but yeah, just yeah haha.

I want a video on ROB fav glasses!!! he has the same shape of face as me :)

Tyler looks like Eric Church with the sunglasses on.
Eric Church modeled his look after Eyeglass Tyler, so the rumor goes... 🎸😎
Good jobs !! Thank,s...
We're happy to do it! Thank you!!
How many sunglasses do you guys have? 😂
We do love our sunglasses!
One question........why did you not show a single pair of polarised Ray bans in the video?? highly recommend you spend the extra..40? and get them as a million times better
Hi Hayden, this video was made to showcase the sizing options for RayBan Aviators. Click on the link to explore other videos discussing RayBan's Lens options! 🔥👉ua-cam.com/users/results?search_query=sportrx+rayban+lenses
@@sportrxeyewear dont get me wrong chaps good video but just seemed odd not a single pair of polarised but thanks for the links
If you’re a guy get either the 58 or 62 period. Anything under the 58 is baby size
Hi there! We agree that most men end up with the 58 or 62! Thanks for tuning in!
@@sportrxeyewear Yeah and that the guy Tyler has a medium to large face/head size, not a small size. In fact there is not much of a difference between Rob and Tyler as far as face/head size.
I need this l beat!!!!!!!!
