5:58 You're correct, Thomas is treated unfairly by Emily as she's being very bossy. I wouldn't like people being bossy to me either. I'd start name calling depending on the person.
the worst part is that she never learns anything after all this! And that in the first place, she was disobeying a very important never-supposed-to-be-broken rule of Sodor that Engines can't EVER order other engines about. Because of how it's been made ever since what happened to Duck when he first appeared in "Duck Takes Charge". If he were in this episode, I bet he so would've told Emily off a thing or two about breaking his rule and not going be the Great Western Way and instead doing everything completely by the Wrong Way. Which CLEARLY is what Emily did here the whole time since she for no reason started bossing Thomas around, which she should NEVER have done, to begin with.
Wow, HiT turned Thomas and Friends into one of those lame kids shows. That’s why it has so many bad episodes. No wonder not many fans are into the HiT Era.
About Thomas talking to the children in that one part, he has EVERY right to do that whenever he can, and children DO NOT make engines late! That's unheard of! And whoever heard such a stupid thing. Plus, I like how Annie and Clarabel agreed with Thomas about Emily being a big bossy boiler. Also, for her not to tell Thomas specifically that The Fat Controller wanted him to fit his snowplough on, that just SO shows even more how stupid and in the wrong Emily is in here. She should've listened to him! Come on!!
Here is my top ten Worst Hit Era Episodes 10. The Man on the Hills 9. Thomas, Emily and the Snowplough 8. Rhineas and the Dinosaur 7. Skarloey the Brave 6. Duncan Drops a Clanger My 5 Dishonorable Mentions: Emily’s Adventure, Saving Edward, Thomas and the Big Bang, Don’t be Silly Billy, Thomas puts the Brakes on 5. Thomas’ Frosty Friend 4. The Review Bros Channel would disagree with some of these ones, as they actually liked "You Can Do It, Toby!" and "Thomas and the Circus". But they and I absolutely agree with "Thomas, Emily & the Snowplough". THAT one IS indeed THE complete WORST episode of the entire HIT Era. I myself never liked that episode at all.
The odd Toby voice in 'You Can Do It Toby' by Angelis is extremely jarring, especially going from S7 to S8. I'll definitely be doing my own options on 'Don't Be Silly Billy' and I agree these episodes were not the best. And thank you for the shout-out... I think 😂☺️🚂🚃
It's also really weird how You Can Do It, Toby is the only episode where Toby is voiced with that funny accent. In every other HiT episode, Angelis just gives him a normal accent.
@@TheYellowStryker maybe he was trying something different and because the audience didn't like it he changed it. Henry and The Wishing Tree was the same in Season 8 ☺️🚂🚃
The thing is with that one is that it gave me more than most of the other S12 episodes, even if what it gave me was still awful so I didn’t include it. I agree it’s bad but I take more issue with the many episodes from that season that were dull and uninspired

I already know what episodes you're going to hate. Edward strikes out Edward and the mail Thomas' frosty friend Topped off Thomas Skarloey the brave Thomas and the billboard Push me, pull you Don't go back Emily's adventure Emily knows best Thomas and the new engine Fearless Freddie Which way now? The man in the hills As good as Gordon Thomas, Emily and the snowplough Skarloey storms through Thomas and the big bang Steady Eddie
Saving Edward is actually a nice episode. I know that Thomas got in trouble for lying but he was only covering for Edward who asked him to do so. However, Edward admitted his mistake to Sir Topham Hatt implying that Thomas wasn't fully to blame nor did he have bad intentions. Thomas was a very good samaritan to Edward in that episode. Even though Sir Topham Hatt is cross with Thomas, I'm not.
I actually liked Emily and the Snow Plow! And I like Emily, I do believe she fits in well with the main cast. Also unpopular opinion: I prefer to see the main cast than others, since I like them and their designs more. But I don’t like the U.S. narrator’s voice during these seasons. He really talks like the audience is beyond stupid. I prefer the Japanese version, which retains the tempo of the first seasons. 👌🏽
Here's my list: 10. Chickens to School: Besides Edward roasting Gordon, everyone in this episode is so dumb! 9. Tram Trouble: So much wasted potential... 8. Saved You!: Is Thomas really that blind? 7. Skarloey the Brave: Skarloey is painfully out of character. The music doesn't help it either. 6. Smoke & Mirrors: The reason why everyone hates the HiT Era. (tho I find it to be underrated) 5. Push Me, Pull You: Very Old Engines book is so much better than this. 4. Topped Off Thomas: So the wind can talk to the engines now? 3. Thomas' Frosty Friend: Do I even need to explain this one? 2. Thomas and the Stinky Cheese: Bland sets, bland narration, Thomas and the diesels being racist (again...), weird face masks. And what the hell is that cheese? 1. Toby's Triumph: Toby, please stop whining about Allicia Botti okay? The only good things are the music and the fallen Autumn leaves.
8:16 I think you mean the yellow Stryker Oh by the way, Only Thomas is shoehorned in, Gordon is barely in this episode, he only has one line of dialogue, and is just there too tell Edward that Thomas got in trouble with Sir Topham Hatt
8:14 You might have been referring to me, not the Ginger Engine. But anyway, cool list! Surprised Henry Gets It Wrong isn't at number 1 anymore. Here's my take: 10) Emily's Rubbish Emily is incredibly out of character here, and I'm tired of pretending she's not. The story itself is one of many generic 'character learns to ask for help' crap that is not only boring, but also nonsensical because Emily's perfectly capable of pulling six trucks on her own. Also, I don't care about Gordon, James and Henry being in the same shot together. I'm more focused on the way Molly, Neville and Murdoch are shoved to the side and called 'other engines'. Give them an episode, HiT! I bet any of them could have fit this one's role better than Emily. 9) Push Me, Pull You You made some very interesting points on why this one isn't all that bad, and that's why it's no longer at the bottom of my list, but dear lord those CGI faces are HIDEOUS! This is coming from a guy who finds S12's animation a small bit overhated, mind you. 8) Rheneas and the Dinosaur At least Skarloey the Brave has good modelwork and an okay runaway. What does this one have? Nothing. It's just Thomas and the Circus again but with a flanderised Rheneas and an unrealistic dinosaur prop. 7) Edward Strikes Out I don't think I need to explain the problems with Edward here, do I? And no, using James instead wouldn't fix the episode, as it would still be your bog standard 'don't judge by appearances' episode number 2378. 6) Thomas in Trouble This episode is the epitome of pointless. Thomas denies his condition three times, breaks down and learns his lesson. Nothing significant happens, there's no good character moments, no payoff, and we don't even get an explanation as to why Thomas broke down. There's also a lot of grating rhyming, and the three strikes formula is repetitive to a S14 extent. 5) Tram Trouble Why introduce a character of such significance if your just going to make it a Thomas episode and never use the new character after this point? Not to mention the dynamic that Flora could have had with Toby but nope. S12 doesn't allow that. 4) Toby's Triumph The Autumn scenery looks really good, but Toby is so out of character that it hurts. The episode is just him whining until he's told to stop worrying. Yes, that's a good moral but it's the same as every other Toby episode in the HiT era so we're not missing out on much here, are we? 3) Topped Off Thomas This episode teaches kids to not compare themselves to the wind, otherwise the wind will get revenge on them. Who the hell approved that as an episode? Thomas racing Spencer should have been the main plot, not this. 2) Smoke and Mirrors S11 is easily the worst HiT season with episodes like this. You know it's bad when Bertie and Elizabeth get speaking roles instead of the Steam Team for once yet I still forgot about it, because of how bad this episode is. 1) Thomas and the Big Bang It boggles me that S8-10 get blamed for inconsistencies yet no one talks about this abysmal horror of an episode. This episode has SIX out of character moments, which doesn't happen in any other season. Not only that, but it steals the plot from Percy's New Whistle and executes it in a much worse way. Instead of a cool snowball scene, we get really dull, uninteresting crashes, lifeless dialogue and narration, and the most repetitive three strikes formula in the history of the show. This is worse than every S13-16 episode, I'll go that far.
Here’s my list 10. Push Me Pull You 9. Saved You 8. Seeing the Sights 7. Tram Trouble 6. Toby Feels Left Out 5. Percy and the Left Luggage 4. Thomas Emily and the Snowplough 3. Thomas and the Stinky Cheese 2. Respect for Gordon 1. Toby’s Triumph
Honestly my most dislike episode is middle engine because of how Percy was falsely accused by sir topham hatt and also of course Arry and Bert made Percy a middle engine.
Well with you can do it toby i understand. But at least the sound effects and music in that episode are charming when we get the scene of pushing gordon up the hill telling us the viewers that the trains are indeed heavy With thomas emily and the snowplough. With some of it i agree but at least emily's s7 character is still in there, she acts just like an angry mother. But in the other 2 emily episodes she's just rude for no reason. In here i understand
Thomas, Emily & The Snowplough is actually decent. It’s like Respect For Gordon where both protagonists are flawed. Thomas was stupid for ignoring Emily’s snowplough warning, but it’s understandable why he’d ignore her. I’d take it over Don’t Be Silly Billy any day . Emily actually does care about Thomas, she just went about it the wrong way. Heave Ho Thomas isn’t terrible either, Thomas is very in character with the earlier seasons when he was eager to be independent and hot headed. While I love Flagpole and have a soft spot for Wishing Tree, Henry Gets It Wrong is terrible. It’s sappy, Henry is an idiot, and the ending is beyond forced. When was Season 12 not terrible though?
