I don’t know why 🤷🏾‍♀️😩I didn’t think of this before but I think it’s ironic that her name is Bathsheba and her taking a Bath 🛁 where King 👑 David ‘s prying eyes 👀 could see her , is the event that led them both down the terrible Rhode of lies , deceit and deception 😕.

At that time where she is taking a bath it is because she’s done with her monthly period and on her way to purify herself, she’s innocently taking a bath believing the brave king his men and her husband is in the battlefield. The Bible did not say she became aware of the king’s peeping gaze, she was just summoned in the palace, the only negative thing on her part is that she didn’t shout her protest . Later her father in law sided with Absalom in trying to depose king David by giving counsels to Absalom some of them were heeded by Absalom like encouraging Absalom to sleep with his father’s concubine, but when his other good counsel to defeat David was not followed, her father in law have foreseen their doom and defeat, went home and killed himself.

    1) David was a peeping Tom! He was watching women bathe, and his castle was set up like this! He watches her from the palace. 2) David was a KING who summoned her. She COULD NOT SAY NO to the king! If she said no she would have been killed. 3) at that time women had NO RIGHTS and NO SAY. She was literally raped by David. 4) David KILLED her husband. When David himself should have been in war. I HATE it when people say she “seduced” David or “made him fall”. So many churches make Bathsheba wrong but it’s all David’s fault. She was a woman with no say over a King and she was raped.

Yes, you are quite right. I once was someone who used to say the same thing with Bathsheba being the seducer. However, it took me some time to recognize where I was wrong. The Church will slowly change its understanding, since the dynamics of consent & rape have been complicated in the minds of people. Christ is in control of His church, He will bring the change.

She liked him as well, you're wrong there - King David of course, forced himself on her, but she liked him as well, she just obeyed in a few words, she was innocent - even if she liked him, sometimes there can be sympathies, temptations, which with a watchful eye can be resisted and overcome, but she was not in that position at that point, so she also sinned, but was led into it!!....

David still deserves to be severely punished for his crimes once he enters the afterlife. The fact that Bathsheba and Uriah’s lives were utterly RUINED by that monster who’s *”after God’s heart”* is purely detestable. Anything less than severe punishment on David’s end is a great injustice. God has to PROPERLY make this right. That being, Uriah and Bathsheba reuniting in heaven, marrying each other forever, and having a child with Uriah’s and Bathsheba’s blood. All of this while severely punishing King David for his crimes even further in the afterlife.

Solomon's Kingdom started out great but didn't end well. He had a serious Lust problem and married a thousand pagan women against God's law given to Moses for the people of God. That led to his descendants losing more than half his Kingdom in a split and civil war.

Curious though, if it was purely a rape why didn't she confess it to Uriah,or,why didn't she go out to his bed and throw herself at him, no,I sense that she was somewhat to blame.

Please do a similar program for Jezebel, the wife of biblical king Ahab. A very religious and devoted queen who loved and cared for her husband the king. The naive king failed to use the powers accruable to his office for the good governance of his people. Now everyone blames and hate the caring wife for all the failings of the naive king Ahab. I will love to listen to Jezebel tell her own story. Similarly Delilah and the woman who hide spies against the safety of her people. Let them all similarly tell their own part of their stories.

God took the life of David & Bathsheba because they committed adultery & King David put Bathsheba’s husband, Uriah in a position that would get him killed. David brought Uriah home from war. So he would have sex with his wife. So that Uriah would think the baby was his. Uriah was a honorable man. He would not lay with is wife. While his fellow soldiers were in war. Therefore, King David made sure. Uriah was killed in war…

How many wives does king David have? why does king David neglect to obey Exo 20:17 you shall not covet your neighbos house , wife...! one has to focus what had happend to Kings David family only curse after curse! I don't think king David loves Batishba beause he has too many wives and concubines that kind of man is not capable of love. I think queen batshiba misuse the situation with the prophet Nathan...! Stop bringing curse on children of God by showing this vindictive film! Delete the film! You can't base a man's love on your view point. David loved his wives and kids. Just as Solomon loved his 700 wives and concubines. You're looking at it through a female lens. David made his mistakes but he loved his kids and even though his son was wrong he mourned for him greatly.

1 John 4: 20 If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.
your suggestion shows you don't know God! King David was anointed when He was young boy! To be anointed does not give a licence or a freedom to sin or get married with so many women fornicate...! In fact the moment if the anointed live a sinful life with disobedience to the law his connection with God stops! because Gods Grace left the person he doesn't feal guilty when he sins! That is what happened to King David. King Saul was a very bad leader and example to him! one way or the other It was not the Will of God to annoit Kings! Its the rebellious demand of Israslites! and it resulted disaster again and again Must know God Made Covenant To only lead Kings that respect their anointing and obey the law!
