    My niece was born with cranio in 2003 all 4 of her sutures were fused, she never had a. As she grew around 9 months, we noticed her forehead started to protrude out in an odd shape. The odd shape was caused by extreme pressure from her skull's sutures being closed prematurely. So, she wasn't turning into the unicorn I wished for every holiday lol. We met with a cranio facial plastic surgeon and an amazing team she had her surgery and of course it was challenge but we made it through. Now she is a human sour patch college student she is sassy and beautiful and life is good.

    That baby couldn’t be any sweeter❤️
    I was worried about this with my second born. He had a large coronal ridge and his anterior soft spot was basically a pin point( very small) we had a CT done when he was only a few months old and all was fine. This was 17 years ago.
    I was a caretaker of a young lady in her teens who was born with microcephaly and had sutures that were fused( prior to my son being born) so I was aware of how important soft spots were.

    My daughter looked like someone took a vise to her temples. They wanted to do surgery to fix it at 6 months old. A pediatric physical therapist did craniofacial sacral treatment and straightened her head went out in a matter a weeks. That was over 22 years ago. The therapist showed me on my head how much pressure was put on her head . It felt like nothing, but it was amazing and worked.

    My son was born with craniosynostosis, difficult birth, in the olden days with no c section. His forehead was very pronounced and had no soft spot and a fused sagittal suture…this was 1974. He had a good piece of skull removed and some 3M product ….I imagined it as tin foil was put in along edge to prevent it from reconnecting again too soon. Not even sure they had CT scan back then…it was go in and discover. Still very conscious of his head slightly, mis-shaped. Worn baseball hats, his entire life, even to church.

    The bones in my skull were all fused together before I was born. There was no room for any of my face to grow properly. I have a very very rare syndrome that I’d actually be a little surprised if you heard of it. Many doctors have not and many of mine through the years have asked me to explain it to them. It affects 1 out of 100,000 births. Pfeiffer syndrome.

    I think this happened to my husband the back of head base of the skull goes in sharply you can’t tell unless you feel it. He was born in Puerto Rico I bet if he was born in the states it might have been fixed? He also was born with his right ear folded in and ear canal not formed core and had to have lots of surgery for that so maybe hat was the cause too?

      Often baby's stuck because the shoulder is stuck and mom can't get him out So they pull the arm out of the shoulder socket. Then the baby comes out of the vagina. The affected arm will often be paralyzed for a few months. This happened to my nephew who was 14 lbs at birth!!! Both shoulders were stuck. Both arms were pulled and he recovered fine. He is now a 6'6" big man!

    When babies were born, all those cranial lines you were pointing out, are not fused for a purpose! You haven’t even mentioned the soft spot (the Fontenelle ) ! which is in the middle or just about in the middle of the babies head when the baby comes down the birth canal, those unclosed cranial close tight, so the baby can pass down the birth canal and be born that’s how you get some babies born with a conehead, but they spring back after a couple of hours you’re not Telling the truth there’s nothing wrong with that babies head at all. I’ve had four children two boys two girls. I’ve got grandchildren, boys and girls and one of my grandchildren had a flat back head. Nothing wrong with them now it’s just the way babies are born or formed, or they come out from a cesarean section differently than if they were a vaginal birth.

    • @candykane4271
      @candykane4271 22 дні тому +2

      He has early fusing of a suture that allows your brain to grow up until age 3. my son had suture closed from the soft spot to the back of the head. Totally not allowing the brain to grow, pushing forward to push out the other part of your skull. His forehead. It doesn’t fix on its own. He looks similar to him only his forehead protruded a lot more.
