my son was born with this but he didnt have a full eye socket we took him to CHOP and he had surgery at 10 months old today as a 32 yr old he is healthy and very happy
What a little sweetheart! He wants to get in on the conversation! 🥰🥰🥰
I swear that lady is a miracle worker and she’s amazing with babies and children!
God bless this sweet child!
Dr Paul, you will ALWAYS be a doctor to us ❤️🩺🚼
My husband had this as a baby back in the 80s. He had his surgery as a baby and is a healthy man with a huge scar on his head but very happy he’s alive. Thank God for modern medicine!
My niece was born with cranio in 2003 all 4 of her sutures were fused, she never had a. As she grew around 9 months, we noticed her forehead started to protrude out in an odd shape. The odd shape was caused by extreme pressure from her skull's sutures being closed prematurely. So, she wasn't turning into the unicorn I wished for every holiday lol. We met with a cranio facial plastic surgeon and an amazing team she had her surgery and of course it was challenge but we made it through. Now she is a human sour patch college student she is sassy and beautiful and life is good.
I want to hear the baby talk more! Adorable!
That baby couldn’t be any sweeter❤️
I was worried about this with my second born. He had a large coronal ridge and his anterior soft spot was basically a pin point( very small) we had a CT done when he was only a few months old and all was fine. This was 17 years ago.
I was a caretaker of a young lady in her teens who was born with microcephaly and had sutures that were fused( prior to my son being born) so I was aware of how important soft spots were.
Absolutely adorable baby. may God bless him in his recovery ❤
My daughter looked like someone took a vise to her temples. They wanted to do surgery to fix it at 6 months old. A pediatric physical therapist did craniofacial sacral treatment and straightened her head went out in a matter a weeks. That was over 22 years ago. The therapist showed me on my head how much pressure was put on her head . It felt like nothing, but it was amazing and worked.
My little one had tortichollis, and the doctor was considering a helmet. We went to a pediatric chiropractor, got one of those shaping pillows, and she fixed it right up!
It's always good to see you, Dr Paul. Your videos are always so informative!
I think this baby is lucky ..... he is safe with such a good doctor and his assistant nurse.....
The little cutie is so chill and happy! ❤️🇨🇦
I love his natural Mohawk
Dr Paul, you'll ALWAYS be a doctor in my eyes. Had I been blessed with children, I would have been honored to have you as our family doctor. I've been in the medical field for 33+ years and I know GREAT doctors when I see them. You sir, are a great doctor.
My son was born with craniosynostosis, difficult birth, in the olden days with no c section. His forehead was very pronounced and had no soft spot and a fused sagittal suture…this was 1974. He had a good piece of skull removed and some 3M product ….I imagined it as tin foil was put in along edge to prevent it from reconnecting again too soon. Not even sure they had CT scan back then…it was go in and discover. Still very conscious of his head slightly, mis-shaped. Worn baseball hats, his entire life, even to church.
The bones in my skull were all fused together before I was born. There was no room for any of my face to grow properly. I have a very very rare syndrome that I’d actually be a little surprised if you heard of it. Many doctors have not and many of mine through the years have asked me to explain it to them. It affects 1 out of 100,000 births. Pfeiffer syndrome.
Dang, what an ADORABLE baby!!
What a beautiful baby. I hope he will be ok.
We love Dr. Paul! God Bless him & that sweet baby!
great doc. my eldest was diagnosed with this. but prayers worked with magot prayer. and yes she went to a special hospital. she is fine and a works as oncology and hmatology nurse.
Ah, I see you prayed that hospitals and skilled doctors exist
Adorable little baby!
Keep going! We love You!
That baby is so adorable, he’s such a cutie!
My Grandaughter was born with hydrocephalus. At a certain point she had a helmet made for her, which she wore for a long time period, ( she had to have 2. They were 3K each.
My 3 year old grandson has this. It has improved, but is still noticable if you look at his head shape and after a hair cut. He is normal every other way.
My son is nearing 50 years old and the surgery in 1974 he is self conscious of his slightly misshapen head and has always worn baseball hats. I think the only time I saw him without one was at his wedding.
They say that babies who were/are placed on boards whereby the mother can work or travel. American Indians from certain tribes had flat skulls before reservations.
Such a beautiful gorgeous little one, wish there were more like this doctor,he's awesooooome
He's beautiful 😊🤗
🙏🙏🙏😇
That baby is adorable and so happy❤
My cousin had this due to ventouse suction birth. He had to wear a special helmet for 18 months
My grandson wore a helmet for about 8 months. Perfect head now! He's 11 and plays football now!

What a cutie pie !!!
😊🇨🇦
What a cute baby.
I think this happened to my husband the back of head base of the skull goes in sharply you can’t tell unless you feel it. He was born in Puerto Rico I bet if he was born in the states it might have been fixed? He also was born with his right ear folded in and ear canal not formed core and had to have lots of surgery for that so maybe hat was the cause too?
What about his brother. Does he have this too? Are they identical twins?
Good to see you Dr Paul. We noticed he didnt use his left arm much. Is that related to the stenosis?
Often baby's stuck because the shoulder is stuck and mom can't get him out So they pull the arm out of the shoulder socket. Then the baby comes out of the vagina. The affected arm will often be paralyzed for a few months. This happened to my nephew who was 14 lbs at birth!!! Both shoulders were stuck. Both arms were pulled and he recovered fine. He is now a 6'6" big man!
What a cute baby
I would love to have a glass of wine with Dr P. : )
Dr. Paul, What is the Dede's job? PT for infants?
Sweet baby😊
I had craniosynostosis I had surgery at age 8 it was missed
I taught my daughter, when she was a teenager, not to leave a baby in a baby carrier too long or they’ll get a flat head in the back. Thus, if any of her babies’ heads begin to resemble this baby’s head, she’ll know to take him into the pediatrician.
What a cutie! ❤
I need a pillow like that, I don’t like normal pillows cause they hurt my neck.
What brand pillow is that? 😊
WAIT!!! You said at the beginning that you were going to show us his scan!!!
👉My whole life I've done such intuitive manipulations of my head & found out in midlife that I have Chiari Malformation 1 (congenital) & have had 3 brain surgeries to correct it. Still have to manipulate my head!
Can The baby sit up on its own?
My babies head is a bit flat on the side, our Dr said it’s ok but I’m still bothered by it. When will it change ?
Ask your doctor
My baby had closed sutures and had the surgery and I recall the doctor saying by age 3, he will have the head he’s going to have. So that’s quite a bit of time if he’s small as not caused by sleeping position. My baby had surgery at six weeks.
You are the Dr. I would have chosen for our children! We have 5 children and by the time we got to #3 I had done enough research that there was NO WAY I was doing anymore "jabs"!! I can not tell you what it would have meant to me to have had someone like you as our family Dr.!!! YOU ARE A DOCTOR! YOU WERE JUST ROBBED OF THE PAPER ON THE WALL THAT GRANTS YOU THE RIGHT TO BE WHO YOU ARE!!! 😢 Wicked people took that away from you, your family, the parents and the children.
Dr. Paul, you are a doctor, you just don’t have your medical license anymore. This means you are not able to practice medicine. What makes you a doctor is your doctorate degree! Enjoy your retirement.
Leave him alone
@@lorrainekinder5908 I did not mean any harm. If he wishes it, I would be glad to take down the comment.
@@lorrainekinder5908I don’t think they meant that negatively. I think they meant no matter if he is practicing or not, his knowledge as a doctor will always be there.
@@cici39177❤❤❤
@@cici39177Well said.
How old is this little cutie pie?
He seems to have some neuromuscular stuff going on.
Start a study channel.startvteaching young doctors about various cases and topics and residencies etc etc .make youtube shorts regarding certain cases. Look at spine doc lady .
Dr. Paul your fingernails are blue, a sign of cyanosis, but I know I don’t have to tell you that.
My son’s head was flat on one side of the back. His doctor never even mentioned it.
He’s so cute
You need to prepare more so you remember what you are talking about.
None of my babies slept on their backs. They liked tummy sleeping.
90 year old women is a mother lmao
Not a very good doctor, if you don't remember the name of part's of the brain and skull.
This looks like Paris Hiltons boys head......
Kiddo needs a helmet.
They talk about helmets in the video, but this kiddo has more than plagiocephaly going on 😢
When babies were born, all those cranial lines you were pointing out, are not fused for a purpose! You haven’t even mentioned the soft spot (the Fontenelle ) ! which is in the middle or just about in the middle of the babies head when the baby comes down the birth canal, those unclosed cranial close tight, so the baby can pass down the birth canal and be born that’s how you get some babies born with a conehead, but they spring back after a couple of hours you’re not Telling the truth there’s nothing wrong with that babies head at all. I’ve had four children two boys two girls. I’ve got grandchildren, boys and girls and one of my grandchildren had a flat back head. Nothing wrong with them now it’s just the way babies are born or formed, or they come out from a cesarean section differently than if they were a vaginal birth.
He has early fusing of a suture that allows your brain to grow up until age 3. my son had suture closed from the soft spot to the back of the head. Totally not allowing the brain to grow, pushing forward to push out the other part of your skull. His forehead. It doesn’t fix on its own. He looks similar to him only his forehead protruded a lot more.
Maybe I'm late to the party, but after finding out why you got your medical license suspended, I've lost all respect for you. Unsubscribed and wont be watching any future videos.
And to those who will reply to this comment, i really don't care what you write because my notifications for replies to my comments are always turned off so i wont see them anyway. So if i were you, save your breaths 😂😂😂 byeeeeee
So basically you’re saying that you don’t have it in you to make an intelligent argument with others who may not agree with you?
Look around. Are you at the airport? If not you need not announce your departure.
Typical internet troll response…low intelligence high ignorance…not surprising…I feel sorry for your misery. 😒🙄
He’s a cutie ❤
He's really cute!! ...and -- to me -- he looks really big for *6mos. (tall!) [@13:05+, from rt. side]
