Devolution of health remains a big mistake This is because while counties have the mandate, responsibility and all human resources(staff), the National Government keeps 70 % of the Budget So it is impossible for counties to provide heslth services with very little budget Then there is no fiscal control on both National Government and counties! The oversight bodies ie the national assembly, Senate, independent commissions all are asleep You can find projects that are very expensive and wasteful being implemented but not medicine or no funds for paying workers!
Historical injustices and negligence by successive regimes have rendered many Kenyans poor, not only in the northern part of the country but other areas as well. Even in your village am sure there are hundreds if not thousands of Kenyans living below the poverty line, and you are here commenting like a semi literate goon who never stepped inside a formal classroom
