I am a funeral director, and I will say this until the day I die: please stop commenting on bodies that look pregnant! There are mothers who leave the hospital without their baby and come straight to the mortuary to plan funeral services, or who know their pregnancy is no longer viable and need to make arrangements in the midst of medical procedures. Its already an incredibly painful process, please don't make it worse.
Hi, Hannah! Love your content. Just wanted to note that, like another commenter mentioned, most disabled folk prefer to just be called disabled. We find language like "differently abled," "special needs," and "handi-capable" to be incredibly condescending, and not at all accurate to our situation; there isn't any need to sugarcoat disability, and it certainly doesn't benefit us; disability is not a dirty word. Also, I don't know if this is just a "me" thing but, as a soon-to-be mom (36 weeks pregnant) with a disability, having been raised by two non-disabled parents who often credited themselves for MY finishing college, or learning to drive, or getting married, I find the whole "special needs mom," "disabled parent" thing to be equally as annoying. You aren't a disabled parent/special needs parent because your child has a disability; you would only be a disabled parent if you, yourself were disabled - and a parent. I've always felt like the parents of physically handicapped/non-neurotypical kids feel that they're owed some kind of gold star or extra recognition because of their CHILD'S difficulties, and that's always rubbed me the wrong way.
I’m sorry you had that experience with your parents, your achievements were definitely all of your own doing!! As someone whose little brother has Down Syndrome, I’ve also always hated terms like “differently-abled,” since as you said it sounds condescending and, for me, takes away from the struggles he still deals with. However, to be honest, I’ve felt that the term “special needs” applies to him well because he does have very specific needs; at 21 years old, he’s non-verbal, not fully toilet trained, has a very limited diet, and requires constant supervision to be safe and healthy. While I usually just say “my brother has Down Syndrome,” since there is such a range of severity in that disability (as with all disabilities), with some people being able to live on their own, drive, go to college, etc. , sometimes it’s easier to just say he has special needs to emphasize that he requires special assistance. It really is way too big of a blanket term in my opinion though! Do you think it’s ultimately best to just ask each individual disabled person what term they prefer to use, or just use the term “disabled” to be on the safe side? I will also add that you make a great point about “disabled/special needs parent,” it really doesn’t make any sense! If anything, it makes much more sense to say “a parent OF a disabled/special needs child.” While a parent of a disabled child do face their share of challenges (I know from my parents’ experience), the emphasis still definitely needs to be put on the child who actually has the disability and deals with it in every aspect of their life! Anyway, sorry for the essay, and also a big congratulations on your pregnancy!
I appreciate you sharing this! I try to put a lot of thought into the words I use because I really want to be inclusive and supportive of everyone. I don't want the words I say to be careless. I am always so happy and excited to see input from a person in that community let me know what they prefer.
As a disabled person, I also prefer “Disabled” over stupid things like “Differently Abled”. I don’t mind “Special Needs”, though, because I do sometimes require accommodations and stuff, which I feel “Special Needs” emphasizes. To me, terms like “Differently Abled” feel like they’re kind of minimizing/ignoring my struggles. Also, “Handi-Capable” sounds absolutely ridiculous and seems to be similar to “Differently Abled” in the way that it seems to ignore the fact that my condition makes things harder for me.
Ugh I miss being pregnant! It was the only time I've ever truly loved my body and showed it off. It's just an amazing feeling idk how to explain it. I have body dysmorphia and was beyond petrified I'd hate being pregnant but it was so beautiful I loved it. Also being allowed to speak my mind and blame it on the hormones 🙃 as a people pleaser that part was also a great feeling hah
something that peeves me so much about people [huns] talking down on people who went to college/uni and "aren't using their degrees" is that they don't understand that while yes, a lot of people might not end up working "in their field", they still have built skills and gained experiences that have helped shape who they are as people. I have a diploma in marketing and a degree in music, and I don't work in marketing nor am I continuously paid to sing (although I do get paid to do it), but I use skills that I built up in those programs every single day, and that I may not have built up otherwise or in the same ways that they serve me now. It's not that you must go to post-secondary to build skills, but the particular combination of skills and applications of them in that type of setting are still useful.
My mom is ACTUALLY a small business owner who established a nonprofit pediatric pt/ot/speech therapy clinic more than six years ago. Once they started gaining traction, she was able to quit her original job and pay herself a YEARLY WAGE!! it doesn’t matter how many appointments are actually attended and eventually paid in the month. she gets a consistent, reliable wage and doesn’t have to worry about not getting a paycheck. neither do the people working for her. who 90% happen to be women (mostly because there’s a severe lack of male pt/ot/speech therapists in the pediatric space). we keep trying to say that she needs a raise because she watches over 400+ treatments being performed each week, but she refuses it because she wants to really really deserve every cent. she’s a irl boss babe.
Encouraging those caloric deficits for kids with absolute NO nutritional experience is disgusting spoken from a gen z who had to unlearn disordered eating after growing up watching my mom do weight watchers every other month 🤦♀️
This perfectly describes my experience . WW is the bane of my existence. If I hadn’t been placed on that plan when I was 10, I think I would have a very different relationship with my body
The “100 calorie snack” craze of the early aughts still haunt me. I would go through an entire carton of those because I was SO HUNGRY as a kid and we had no other options and I’d get into so much trouble. Even now I have an “all or nothing” mentality with food
22:22 I can’t stand how these Huns throw their partners under the bus or label them as ‘unsupportive’ if they simply express concerns about joining an MLM. Especially when the Hun says that they had struggled to come up with the money to join. If your struggling to come up with $40 to join a company to work from them, then more than likely their concerns are legitimate and not about them not supporting you.
Most disabled people prefer to just use the label disabled!! It’s a part of our lives, and it’s not a bad word! Lots of parents of disabled kids typically have moved to using “medical momma” or “disabled kiddo raiser” because “special needs” is a form of person first language, and that’s icky! Just to spread some awareness about language regarding people in the disabled community
@@Alyse_bell of course!! PFL is an attempt to separate a person from their identity (disability). Most of the disabled community hate PFL because they can’t separate themselves from their disability, so others shouldn’t attempt to when referring to them. It is always with me, it is a part of who I am. And that’s okay!! I also don’t like it because like, why do you need to *remind* yourself that I’m a person first before my disabilities? It also creates boundaries when receiving proper access to care and accessibility. Identity first language is the preferred for almost everyone!! Unfortunately that’s not what’s taught in schools because of ableism :/
@@Alyse_bell Hi! Autistic person here! (So I can’t speak for other kinds of disabilities) In my experience, person first language feels a bit infantilizing, as well as not acknowledging that my autism is a part of who I am, compared to something I have. I don’t HAVE autism, I AM autistic. Granted I’m just one person, and I’m not an expert on this kind of stuff, but I do know that there are plenty of autistic people who talk about this kind of thing. When you have questions about stuff like this, it’s best to look for resources made by disabled people and/or disabled people talking about it. I hope this helps!
Don’t get a loan for $10,000 to start your own business!! But you can Lose $10,000 in our mlm!! the payout over time will DEFINITELY suck. Great point😂 11:51 Edit : my name is Hannah too. Hannah Fam!!!
Thank you for making these videos. I was with optavia for years. It was my biggest mistake and also my best life lesson. This is one of the reasons I left. Although I lost 270lbs, my coach told me leaving was an excuse and I’d never be really healthy. Even through I still struggle with my caloric intake. Thank you for bringing awareness to this so others, including children don’t have to suffer.
I use to sell on Amazon, and I've never done affiliate through them. I know that you can hold inventory when selling on Amazon, but for the most part you can send your items to their facilities and they will do the storing and shipping when the item sells. They take more money from that sale because of that, but even then you dont necessarily have to hold inventory to sell on Amazon. You can buy items in bulk and have it shipped straight to their warehouse and never see it. I dont suggest that, but you can do that and even then it almost totally nulls her point that you would have to hold inventory.
Can we please talk about how the OptaVia hun couldn't even pronounce the name of her beloved MLM correctly? Like, if you're gonna scam people, at least say the company name right! 😂
That beachbody lady said she gets to stay home with her kids as if she didn't already tell us that she home school, ma'am you were already at home with them
You don't have to be a stay at home mom to homeschool. I homeschool and know several moms who work outside the home and homeschool their children during their off hours and weekends.
@@larissaalcorn3406 that's interesting, I didn't know people home schooled on weekends but I suppose since it's home school you can do it whenever you want
A friend's MIL is into Optavia. Last time they visited, she gave friend's 3 yo son a feuling for a snack and ended up getting sick (not hospital sick, but "we need to get the car detailed" sick). *EDIT* As several pointed out, likely, it was the combination of overly-processed "food" combined with artificial sweeteners that made the poor kiddo sick, and not the soy. :)
it’s honestly astounding what people erik just…feed to children without checking with their parents or making sure it’s safe for kids in the first place 🥴
a person I used to be friends with tried to get me to try one of her "fuelings" once and just the smell of it turned my stomach, she even tried to get me to join her on her "journey" and I was like not just no but HEEEELLLL NO after talking to my husband about how much she paid monthly for a box of food and went to the store and looked at like items in the health and wellness area of our local walmart and could buy almost the EXACT things she was using for a fraction of the cost.
Soy itself isn't a bad thing. It's a major staple of many culture's diets and has been for a long time. The problem is all the processing and everything else that's in it.
As a note: we have two toy organizers very similar to the one you showed and we LOVE THEM! I’m a daycare provider and a mom of two. Highly recommend (at least for us) ☺️
If we all spoke like MLM huns: “You know, I used to go to the home of vice president of marketing at [major international financial institution] for thanksgiving and Christmas every single year. We even went on vacation together and he never forgot to call me on my birthday. Everyone should be so impressed. I learned so much from him! I am so fortunate to have had that close relationship with him”. All totally true and sounds very impressive on social media, but he was my grandfather and no one outside the company knew who he was.
There are significant statistical links between low socioeconomic families and obesity due to unhealthy foods being far cheaper and more easily accessible. If people can't afford to buy regular healthy food, where do Optavia reps expect them to find money to spend on so many hundreds of dollars a month to eat their prepackaged crap?
This. Food deserts are a major issue. The nearest grocery store to me in college was about 8 miles away-which on the bus would take about an hour to get to. If I wouldn't have had a roomate with a car, I would have most likely had to resort t the nearby corner stores.
I feel like the fact that we drive everywhere is also a factor. Driving everywhere means that excersize is something you can only do in free time as a luxury
@12:50 yes! The implication that college or trade school isn't an investment in yourself just because it's crazy priced is laughable. And implying people may not use their degree....just because a history major doesn't become a historian doesn't mean they aren't using the research skills, the critical thinking skills, the social skills, etc., etc., etc. that they learned while obtaining their degree. Plus there are so many jobs who don't care what the degree is, they just require a degree or a degree in a "related" field. Thanks for continuing to be eloquent and awesome, Hannah!
I love that as a nurse and lactation consultant i am ACTUALLY doing something to help children, unlike optavia reps 🤷🏼♀️😅 i also knew her stats were wrong because there's NOT EVEN 40MILLION KIDS UNDER 5 IN THE US. theres just over 22 million kids under 5 total!
I consider myself very lucky that I have never encountered an MLM hun. I’m not sure how I avoided them, since I am one of the primary targets so they would go far. Being autistic with ADHD means that I can be very oblivious to red flags. Somehow, I’ve managed to avoid every MLM in the world. I only got into anti-MLM Contant when I was started listening to a UA-camr named iilluminaughtii. She originally was posting some entitled people videos, then switched over to anti-MLM after a while. As a result, I went down the rabbit hole. I can’t say that I regret it.
Just popping in to say I love your videos and hope your 2nd trimester is proving to be less difficult thank your 1st. Congrats and thank you so much for all the content!
This is regarding the 2nd to last one - I’ll try and keep it to the point. I am a mom to a 3 year old and a 10 month old; our baby was diagnosed at birth with a disability and while I am grateful it was caught early it doesn’t negate the fact that between the hospital, doctors and therapy visits have all been extremely difficult on our family. Don’t get me wrong, we have barely scratched the surface of what our sons disability will look like for him and his life but the short time that he’s been here, I have spent countless amounts of hours in unexpected hospital visits, solo doctors visits due to Covid and trying to navigate this all while still having to show up for my daughter. No one said parenting would ever be easy, yet the pain that I feel when my son is enduring pain that I can’t take away from him or the guilt of whether I’m doing what’s best for him, constantly weighs heavy on my heart. This is probably one of the most isolating experiences I have ever gone through. I’ve been to support and play groups and while it’s nice in the moment it still doesn’t take away that feeling of complete vulnerability and isolation even though I’m aware that many families experience similar situations. I know there are some pretty cruel people in this world but to think someone can go on their social media in such a happy and bubbly manner, completely targeting a very vulnerable group of parents just to fill their own pockets is completely disgusting. I hope one day she will realize how wrong she was in making this video.
The Hun preying on special needs moms makes me sad. She is right, all we do is fight with insurance companies, schools, etc to advocate for our children. We lay awake at night in fear of their future. Our free time is spent in waiting rooms of therapists. It’s sad that she is preying but also that she was the prey and is now spinning her wheels when her time is so precious and valuable. I hate mlms so much! Thank you for your videos. I know it is making a difference in people’s lives when they avoid or leave these scams.
I used to get people in my dms asking to try products all the time and I never realized most were MLMs and some of them were friends asking. I went back to my Instagram dms and noticed everyone who asked me in the past either deleted their accounts or removed any trace of the product/service they previously were trying to sell.
It breaks my heart Alexa Vega, from spy kids, is in Beach Body/BODi after getting out of the essential oil one she was in. I looked up to her growing up so it makes me feel so sad seeing her go through all these mlms
I don't like the statement "truck load of pre-existing conditions coming at them" 24:30. Don't put children on diets unless recommended and SUPERVISED by the child's doctor. Also just because your kid is "skinny" doesn't mean they can't develop or don't have heart problem, asthma, diabetes, high blood pressure, and etc. We as a society have to stop associating weight with disease and sickness. I know "skinny" people who ignore clear health problems because their "skinny" so how could they be sick.
Exactly, my heart problems and chronic illness were all diagnosed when I was skinny and what someone would deem a ‘healthy weight’ as a child. Skinny doesn’t always equal healthy.
Not only are the numbers false and the statements made by the woman are despicable, using BMI statistics for children, women (does the scientific community ever bother considering women?) and men under 5'5" or above 5'11" are flawed. BMI should be binned. It is constantly misused. Have we all forgotten that children, especially girls, have puppy fat? When it comes to the USA, the portion sizes and inclusion of corn syrup or sugar in food (eg bread and yoghurt) is an issue. The food additives in the US compared to Europe are wild. If MLM huns put this much effort into campaigning for regulation around food additives, things might change.
I've been an Amazon affiliate. There is not cost and no inventory. I agree with you, Hannah; she must be confusing the Affiliate program with being a seller on Amazon. Though as far as being a seller on Amazon...I'd rather sell on Amazon and hold inventory than be in an MLM, but it takes all kinds to make a world. About 11 years ago I had a mildly successful business on Etsy, selling my handmade jewelry. I held inventory, because I made every piece. And it wasn't horrendous to do so (though jewelry is certainly smaller than some other items, no question). I toy with restarting it, because extra money is cool, and I'd make this stuff anyway. I just...I don't like how these folks act as if starting a more conventional business is horrendously difficult. It really isn't, at least not where I live. I paid something like $125-$150 to get the thing licensed and I had a sole proprietor business. I made $500 in the first couple months. I had several things working in my favor, though; I'd started in the holiday season, for instance. Can't say that'd work so neatly if it had been July. Nobody needs an MLM to start a business. No one. It's a business model that pulls you into itself so it can get your resources and benefit from them by sending them up the chain to the top-ranked folks, whomever they might be. You are a cog in an ever-growing machine, sacrificing your money, your time, and your future, for this company that doesn't care about you. Don't let these people deceive you; it is not a good opportunity, and you will lose precious things in your life that you don't deserve to lose. These companies want your money; nothing more. You are precious and priceless. A more conventional business can be scary, but it's far more likely to bring you financial stability or freedom than an MLM is. I don't hate you; I care about you. I want you to have the best life has for you, and I don't want you to be exploited and abused for anyone's financial gain. I'd say that at least most folks in the anti-MLM space would agree with that. You have the agency to choose what to do, but I'd be lying if I said I liked it. May you be blessed.
Oh, Hannah, you're too nice trying to tell us that this girl may be "confused" rather than say that this girl is LYING through her teeth with every sentence!
So I watch Great British Baking Show with one of my friends, and there’s a point in every episode where the contestants are setting their baking times and oven temperatures, and my friend always jokes “this is the part where they say some random numbers”. That’s how I felt watching that first clip when she was talking about loans and was just like “50k, 1k, 10k, 20k” 🤣
I don’t understand why so many of the DMs and posts ask you to message them some specific word… but it’s definitely a trend in a lot of the top fails you show. I would feel so weird messaging someone “WEALTH!” 😅
I think this is now the second screenshot of texts you've shown where the person said they're not interested in an MLM and the hun instantly screeched "We're not a pyramid scheme!" despite that not being what was said 😂. That response says everything that you need to know about that "business opportunity".
Love your channel Hannah ❤ it pisses me off so bad that Beach Body “coaches” call themselves like that or trainers when real experts do have to study for it, have to take courses and internships. I am studying for my Certified Personal Trainer Certificate along with Nutrition and really stresses me out they prey on people that may be sick, desperate for results or have an eating discorder!!!!! I admire the work you do and your courage!! Hug and kisses to your kitties ❤️
I can't remember if I have commented this on one of your videos before, but I recently found out a friend had joined Arbonne. We're more acquaintances who see each other every once in awhile but I ran into her at one of her other jobs and she started pitching to me. I knew it a mile away when it started. She was defensive before I even really said anything. She emphasized she had started HER business where people just had to buy things on her website and she got paid. I am horrible at explaining why these businesses are not legit. I also feel like a gentle approach over time of really explaining it might work better after the initial warning but I don't have that opportunity with her. I just told her to watch out for how much money she has spending versus how much money she is making to make sure that she doesn't lose money. She is in a vulnerable position. I don't know exactly what her limitations are but she has some intellectual limitations. She has been taking advantage of in the past and her family had to step in. Unfortunately I think it's a family member who got her into this.
Love this video! Looking at how social media dynamics affect us, imo, is a big and a bit scary topic. As someone who mentally lives at '30,000 feet', I don't often get riled up at actual daily news, forget about how well an egg is colored in! I work in consumer research, so understanding popular culture and what drives it is central to how to best market products.
I haven't even watched this yet and already know I'm going to get fired up. I'm a mom of 3 year old twins, one of which is special needs. She has very significant, lifelong disabilities including hearing loss, CVI, spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy, nonverbal, and more. I'm a member of several Facebook groups ranging from twin mom groups to groups for specific diagnosis. It breaks my heart when I see MLMers prey upon the vulnerable members of these groups that I am apart of. Many of which are lonely with little to no support system or are in financial distress. I'm truly lucky I am armed with knowledge and have a good support system, but many are blinded by lies and false promises. I may or may not edit this comment after watching lol
OMG the beach bodi kool aid. I followed a Disney OBSESSED, beach body coach and she really was motivating. The women in her facebook group were so supportive and encouraging and it did not take long for me to realize that once she got my membership fee I disappeared.
I watched your deep dive on Optavia this summer and cannot stand them. When one of my co-workers told me she had signed up (through her gym trianer which is just awful in itself), I was like, nooooo! She was with me after school one day and busted out one of the snacks. I had to try a bite just to see and it was just as awful as the company itself. Just no no no absolutely not.
I'm an Amazon affiliate on UA-cam and I don't pay anything, and I make a commission on anything you buy on the site no matter what they buy. She is full of bs on most everything. And I had less than 300 subscribers at the time.
"That's alarming 😐 That's staggering 😐" says the Optavia rep while literally not citing any statistics. The rage I have to people using stats however they want to especially to sell their products!!
"that's alarming. That's staggering" Me: "that's made up" 😂 plus there's only a little over 22 million kids under 5 TOTAL in the USA so I knew her statistic was bs. Thanks to Hannah for finding where she pulled that number out of
@ the beachbody one: You ABSOLUTLEY could have made that money back on a less than four hour shift at McD's! I adore your content and how you blow up their lies and exaggerations with straight facts.
Hey Hannah! So happy you’re back! This, like all of your videos, is gold. I love when you get fiesty - you seem like such a polite, kind person who strikes me as a lot more patient than I am, so when you start calling BS it makes a huge impact! Optavia calls their meal plan products “FEEDINGS”. Not food. I you’re feeling well and so happy for you & your family. (Super-cute toy organizer, btw.)
"Times are evolving.. You don't have to go into debt to make money." Well, yeah because going into debt means you aren't making money so that's I guess sort of part of the way there?
SO I just did a music-only workout video (Maddie Morrison) while listening to this video, and let me just say, the workout FLEW BY. I think I just found my favourite way to work out. 😍
That first woman talking about “affiliate marketing” seems to have got it mixed up with dropshipping and being a traditional seller. Top tip as someone who used to be responsible for a small company’s Amazon listings: check if the third party you’re about to buy from has good ratings and if so, see if they have their own website. There’s a good chance they will be cheaper if you buy from them directly as they won’t have to worry about the huge Amazon fees for sellers.
I've realized through watching your top fails videos that all these MLM people talk the same way - same energy, same cadence, similar vocabulary. I can immediately tell if a video is advertising an MLM based on how they talk.
A lot of childhood obesity is a result of poverty. And I know that doesn’t make sense. But if you look at the cost of food, it’s literally way too disgustingly expensive, shamefully expensive, to eat healthy.
Two congrats & one comment: A) Congrats on starting your family. Your excitement for your family's future comes across very clearly in your videos. B) Congrats on "surviving" being off youtube for such a long time, as it appears your viewing numbers are trending toward where they were pre-break. I am just guessing, but I think that when it comes to youtube content that the creator must be concerned about the out-of-sight-out-of-mind battle, and you seem to be winning it. I confess that when you were off, I guessed that you were sidelined by some legal issue, and am glad you were out for a positive reason. C) You did a video about Beach Body/Bodi, and then in a more recent video you mentioned Beach Body/Bodi while making a point. Here's my point: You are now the clear leader in the anti-mlm arena, and as such I want to think you want to help others who are also fighting the mlm battle. To that end, there is a creator named Deanna Mims who actually WAS in Beach Body and has done numerous videos about her experiences in it. She can't hold a candle to you in terms of presentation, preparation and research, but I think you could help her out by doing a collab with her on her site or at least shouting her out when you refer to Beach Body/Bodi. A rising tide lifts all boats. You clearly are leading the anti-MLM charge. I guarantee that when you were doing the poms/dance stuff, that you were always more than willing to help out teammates who were struggling with the routine or letting personal problems affect their performance. As leader of the anti-mlm team, you can help your teammates in this battle as well.
As someone who was (and still is) obese (and borderline poor)I didnt need expensive meal alternatives. I needed knowledge on how to eat and cook properly and not sustain mostly on processed food because healthier food was to expensive. I needed to be motivated to do something physically challenging to do everyday (like a sport or fun physical activity). The struggle I have trying to overcome learned habits and lose excess weight 😬
when it came to the optivia rep talking about childhood obesity with that soft voice meant to pull on your heartstrings, I started hearing the “arms of an angel” commercial in the back of my head 😂
1. I cannot stand when “Huns” talk and talk and talk without actually saying what “company” they’re with. And 2. You didn’t have a business! Just like Kangen water, you’re just a sales person. Stop saying you’re “building a business”! Thank you for making these videos. I wish these were around when I was 20😂 Would have saved me a lot of time falling for MlMs!
I just found your content and I've really been enjoying it, thank you for raising awareness. I just wanted to suggest you put a content warning into the video before discussing disordered eating, as it can be a triggering topic for some people
with amazon it‘s extremely easy to get an affiliate link. basically anybody can get one. that‘s why you see amazon affiliate links in any video anywhere. and you absolutely don‘t need to think about what products somebody would buy. even if i click on the imagined lipgloss link Hannah mentioned in the video and i buy something completely different, Hannah would still get the commission for the stuff I actually bought.
I've watched anti-mlm since 2019 and I've never seen one video where an MLM or hun geniunely gives a legit training on how to grow your social media -- like every freaking MLM claims they do, nowadays. It's such a lie!
There's an old saying: Don't pay to play. Don't give anyone money for the "privilege" of working for them. I wish everyone in an MLM would take this to heart. It always makes my blood run cold when a hun tries to convince people to join a pyramid scheme in lieu of higher education or a real investment.
I do real estate on the side, and I have had buyers and sellers ask for what are essentially kickbacks for the privilege of working for them. That has never sat well with me.
According to my nutritionist, the best way to lose weight is to increase your caloric intake and increase your exercise bc unless you do both, your body freaks out. But if you increase by a healthy 2-300 kcal and start working out for 30-45min a 3-4x a week, your body will adjust your metabolism to reflect that and you won’t retain as much fat.
LOLing at this first girl like oh it's so hard to do affiliate marketing through Amazon where you have to like choose the products you want to sell..You know out of the millions available on Amazon whereas you could just be forced to sell this one thing only and hope the people buy it that's a lot easier. wtf
That first girl basically said “I tried dodgy e-commerce schemes but decided to just join a pyramid scheme instead”
“I’ve had a lot of people asking…”
Literally nobody asked but she needed a reason to post this stuff.
Always the give away
They LOVE using that one! So stupid and rarely true! 🤣
And Hannah's eye roll when she said that 🤣 Such a load of BS
It’s like “yeah poor you having to deal with a difficult child” like they want pity
It’s like “yeah poor you having to deal with a difficult child” like they want pity
I have say, Hannah has gotten sassier (as did I when I was pregnant) and I am here for it
Ugh I miss being pregnant!
YES SHE DID and I am here for it!!!!!! I love love love it!
She shows her mama bear coming through and I'm all here for it!
something that peeves me so much about people [huns] talking down on people who went to college/uni and "aren't using their degrees" is that they don't understand that while yes, a lot of people might not end up working "in their field", they still have built skills and gained experiences that have helped shape who they are as people.
Very off topic, but hearing MLM Huns call antiMLM people “ignorant” is BOLD of them. It’s like nails on a chalkboard.
Very culty
They would know I guess haha
For clip 2: "Guess the MLM" would be a hillarious idea for a game show or a live stream
Last time i was asked to join a mlm i was like “i could set money on fire and get more out of it” and she had zero words.
Hahahahah
Lol I love this
At least if you set it on fire, you’re sure it’ll keep you warm which is not what everyone can say in the winter from working an MLM “job” sadly
You’re my hero 😂😂😂
Can I ask why person first language is icky?
An example of identity first language would be “autistic person” instead of “person with autism” and this is what’s preferred.
My son is disabled and I've never heard of this.
@@Alyse_bell
Hi! Autistic person here! (So I can’t speak for other kinds of disabilities)
In my experience, person first language feels a bit infantilizing, as well as not acknowledging that my autism is a part of who I am, compared to something I have.
Great point😂 11:51
Edit : my name is Hannah too.
There are so many moms of disabled children that get sucked in to MLMs. Thank you for shedding light on this topic.
Can we please talk about how the OptaVia hun couldn't even pronounce the name of her beloved MLM correctly? Like, if you're gonna scam people, at least say the company name right! 😂
She’s taking a page from the “monat” ladies 😂
That beachbody lady said she gets to stay home with her kids as if she didn't already tell us that she home school, ma'am you were already at home with them
That’s what I was thinking 🤣
You don't have to be a stay at home mom to homeschool. I homeschool and know several moms who work outside the home and homeschool their children during their off hours and weekends.
@@larissaalcorn3406 that's interesting, I didn't know people home schooled on weekends but I suppose since it's home school you can do it whenever you want
Guilting her bread winner husband for not wanting to spend his hard earned money on the mlm bullcrap.
@@NiaNiaFoFiaif you homeschool yeah “weekends” isn’t really a thing when you make the schedule
Eating soy isn’t bad for you, it’s the fact that it’s so processed it might as well have been made in a lab.
My ex mom was trying to do that with my kids I was like yeah no
a person I used to be friends with tried to get me to try one of her "fuelings" once and just the smell of it turned my stomach, she even tried to get me to join her on her "journey" and I was like not just no but HEEEELLLL NO after talking to my husband about how much she paid monthly for a box of food and went to the store and looked at like items in the health and wellness area of our local walmart and could buy almost the EXACT things she was using for a fraction of the cost.
Highly recommend (at least for us) ☺️
If we all spoke like MLM huns:
“You know, I used to go to the home of vice president of marketing at [major international financial institution] for thanksgiving and Christmas every single year.
Exactly!!!!
There's also only about 22million kids under 5 TOTAL in the USA so I knew right away that statistic was wrong
Wow same. Like, literally same.
@@Dxs4all the closest anyone in my family has come is my sister who used Proactive. It helped her, but caused some damage to my skin.
Just popping in to say I love your videos and hope your 2nd trimester is proving to be less difficult thank your 1st. Congrats and thank you so much for all the content!
I've never met anyone in an mlm but these stories so fascinating, im obsessed!!
Thank you for helping me through my maternity leave 😗
I love when sassy Hannah shows herself 😂
I am so glad I found you months ago, I love your content. Thanks for being here and doing what you do! I hope you are doing well!
Nice username 😄
It breaks my heart Alexa Vega, from spy kids, is in Beach Body/BODi after getting out of the essential oil one she was in. I looked up to her growing up so it makes me feel so sad seeing her go through all these mlms
What a fabulous time for a Hannah video! Work has been truly insane today and I need a calming presence!
It’s currently 2am in Australia. Can’t sleep what better thing to do than watch your videos😅 keep up the great work
It's what I do when I can't sleep! 😆
The amount of times I have fallen asleep to these videos ha
The great British bake off
I don’t understand why so many of the DMs and posts ask you to message them some specific word… but it’s definitely a trend in a lot of the top fails you show. I would feel so weird messaging someone “WEALTH!” 😅
It's a buzzword for an automatic link to be sent to your dm's
I think this is now the second screenshot of texts you've shown where the person said they're not interested in an MLM and the hun instantly screeched "We're not a pyramid scheme!" despite that not being what was said 😂. That response says everything that you need to know about that "business opportunity".
Perfect timing! Now I have something to listen to while I prep lunch
“No, it’s not an MLM” - proceeds to describe a MLM!
Thank you for another great video, you’re glowing as always beautiful! My toddler just went down for a nap so perfect timing 💃🏼
I’ve been binging you for about a week or so. Didn’t even notice this was a new upload😂
Thank you for your amazing videos. I didn't know there were so many mlms. I am thankful for the useful information.
I love how all these people have made so much money that they now want to share it with others.
Love your videos Hannah! So glad you're here educating viewers on MLMs.
That's staggering"
Me: "that's made up"
😂 plus there's only a little over 22 million kids under 5 TOTAL in the USA so I knew her statistic was bs.
You don't have to go into debt to make money."
Well, yeah because going into debt means you aren't making money so that's I guess sort of part of the way there?
The way that Optavia rep spoke gave me the absolute creeps!
YES. It sounded so fake. Something about her tone was very unsettling
SO I just did a music-only workout video (Maddie Morrison) while listening to this video, and let me just say, the workout FLEW BY. I think I just found my favourite way to work out. 😍
Yay so happy to see more Top Fails videos! 😊
My dear Hannah! Are you surprised that MLM reps have difficulties with numbers?
That was wild ! Love your channel, thanks 😊
I'm sensing a connection between mlm's and church.
A lot of childhood obesity is a result of poverty. And I know that doesn’t make sense. But if you look at the cost of food, it’s literally way too disgustingly expensive, shamefully expensive, to eat healthy.
We should do a holiday special with live bingo or jeopardy on some the most popular fail phrases “pyramid schemes are illegal”
Can you make a quick video on how to apply to the Amazon program?
Hey Hannah! I sent you my stories yesterday! Hope you see it! Love your channel! Keep up the hard work! ❤❤
Get it sassy Hannah! Loving it 💁🏻♀️
Two congrats & one comment: A) Congrats on starting your family.
Awakend is also paying commissions with no customers!
when it came to the optivia rep talking about childhood obesity with that soft voice meant to pull on your heartstrings, I started hearing the “arms of an angel” commercial in the back of my head 😂
Eww let’s promote under eating trying to help childhood obesity
Yay Monday morning work background video 🎉
Woohoo! Best way to start my Monday!
Promoting Optavia (processed powders and processed food that are prepackaged in a factory) as a path to health is absurd.
I have a masters degree in business administration. This stuff is pretty wild to me. Like, WILD.
I just found your content and I've really been enjoying it, thank you for raising awareness. I just wanted to suggest you put a content warning into the video before discussing disordered eating, as it can be a triggering topic for some people
Sis popped off in this one dang girl!! Love your passion
Omg!!! Clip 3 is wild!!!
I think the saddest thing is how these people really believe in what they are doing - thinking they will get to live that rich dream.
with amazon it‘s extremely easy to get an affiliate link. basically anybody can get one. that‘s why you see amazon affiliate links in any video anywhere. and you absolutely don‘t need to think about what products somebody would buy. even if i click on the imagined lipgloss link Hannah mentioned in the video and i buy something completely different, Hannah would still get the commission for the stuff I actually bought.
love when you post on my heavy schoolwork days 😌🫶
Love your content :) keeps my Workday happy
Someone at my other job is doing optivia and left a granola bar out. I ate it and it was one of the saddest things I've ever tried.
I don’t understand how these MLMers still do not understand what affiliate marketing is. 🤦♀️
I know an optiavia hun and she has her kid in posts all the time and it’s sadly so disturbing.
I would really love to hear some people talk about Reliv.
Me reading into things.. "need a toy organizer for when SHE is older" wink wink are you having a little girl ! X x x you are going to be the best mom!
LOLing at this first girl like oh it's so hard to do affiliate marketing through Amazon where you have to like choose the products you want to sell..You know out of the millions available on Amazon whereas you could just be forced to sell this one thing only and hope the people buy it that's a lot easier. wtf
