i had 50k in them last year had a few winners top prize for me was a total £300 in one month over the year i won £1200 so not too bad ....just to let you know if you auto re-invest it goes in the same months draw... i don't have that in their now put it into property..
well Jubair i know it really is down to luck however i think i will carry on with your good advice tomorrow i will be buying another big block i am still up so far this year and feel lucky many thanks
I've maxed out all my tax free allowances when it comes to investing, ISAs, pensions. Which I've done so every year. So I decided to max out my premium bonds this year and my first month this month I won a total.... £25 ha.
Hi Yasir, if you want your money in the same day, Premium bonds won't be good, takes a few days. Othwr than that, it's a decent place to put an emergency fund, in my opinion.
I love your videos. Quick question, though: Do you think the Vanguard FTSE All-World is a good ETF to hold for the long term, or do you just buy it to try to time the market?
The most I would keep in a premium bonds is £5000 if I had them, my Mum and Dad both hold premium bonds less than 5000 pounds in each, most of the family has them I don't think no of them hold the maximum, the biggest amount won was my Nan she got £500 one month , the most my Mum won is a month is £100 , the most my Dad won is 50 pounds in a month.
the problem there is they only real way to make money off them is to have all 50000 in there i see premium bonds as an all or nothing kind of investment as without having it full the odds are too low
I just chuck in whatevers left after investing and saving by the end of the month, only £682 after todays deposit of £40. No wins so far but fingers crossed
Good luck for August draw!
You too!
@@Dr.JubairsFinancethank you I won £100 on a £12k holding in August draw. I've been very lucky as won £100 in July.

Ahh, sounds like a low ROI, but you never know what happens next month!
what is the best platforms to invest for premium bonds? Please share. Thanks
You can only buy premium bonds from one place, and thats from the NS&I website.
Is it best to keep emergency funds in premium bonds?

I will be continuing to invest in an all world index, not sure if I'll stay with Vanguard, might move to iShares or Investco

Fair enough. £500 winning seems amazing, could really do with that this month haha.

You did well in April. I just want to win one of those high value prizes. Would love if premium bonds have weekly draws as a new feature
