question for u i would like to do the mcaughy 9 inch lift on my 2021 trail boss i have 40 inch tires and 24x12 wheels but like to take off the hood wheels for the winter my question for u is what size spacer do i need to run my stock wheels i'm in chicago and the winters r bad here sometimes lol love your channel too bud!
You might have some trimming to do if you have not done any yet with 40. We did 37s and stock wheels on 9” and did not require any major cutting but 40s might
in the middle of making some new bumpers front and rear and the front bumper will be like the bodyguard front bumper which should really never touch any tires

I have another customer in Chicago that does the same thing!! I would do 2” spacers so you don’t have to cut the studs

Should i go 6” with 24x14s on a 22 silverado or 9” with 26x14’s. Any advice/pros and cons other than price would be greatly appreciated!
If you do 6” needs to be 12 wide in my opinion. 9” is better for 14 wides
But will 14 wides fit with a 6”?
