    I like these videos which makes me motivated to organise my week more ! I do try my best to use your methods however its really hard at office to stick to daily tasks from people around and from daily new raising issues.

      You're right there, Abdullah; it is difficult when there are people always demanding your time. That's something worth investing some time into to find ways to minimise those distractions.

    Hi Carl,
    thank you for all your work!
    Do I understand it correctly that if you click the link "This week's sheet" at 3:15 it automatically creates new note in Evernote with a new sheet for specific date?
    Also how do you create the link that leads to the Evernote app, not the Evernote web that you can share outside of Evernote.

      Oh, I wish. It's not that simple. The link takes you to a template. You will need to duplicate the template and give it a date.

    Wonderful and very helpful! I find the simple approach very interesting and you only need a few tools!
    Of course, you could also do it in Notion, with a kind of project tracker. But that doesn't really make you more productive, except that it gets more complex.
    Could you also do project planning entirely in Apple Notes, or are there any limitations there in terms of organisation/formatting options? Can Apple Notes create tables with coloured cells or text with check boxes within a table cell?

      You can indeed do project planning in Apple Notes. I did a house and office move entirely in Apple Notes as an experiment and it worked beautifully.

      The only thing I would miss, you can't format tables, so coloured background or lists in tables like you can do in Evernote?

    Thanks Carl, what does the colouring mean on your Master Projects List note? Is this some idea of how things are progressing or urgency on the project?

      Red means priority. Orange means in progress.

    I’m curious Carl, are you completely done with Evernote? I’d love to see some more videos on it.

      Not at all. Evernote is still the backbone of my notes system. The only issue I have is on iOS. There, Evernote is way too slow to sync and it often creates duplicate notes if I don't give it enough time to sync. To overcome this, I use Apple Notes on my mobile devices. It's not a problem at the moment with me working from home. Could become a problem if I begin working outside again in the future.

    How are you deciding how many tasks you can get into a day without monitoring how much time things take to be done? I'm using the Google Calendar integration and found that anything, that is not at least occupying 30 mins on my calendar, will probably not be done. So any task without a time set is seen as optional. Anything that should be done is getting a proper time window.

      I don't really need to. I've developed processes for doing things and built in time to catch up if I need it. If I have a ten hour project, I am not going to have ten hours straight to work on the project. Instead I have blocks of two hours to work on the project, so I will allocate five blocks to complete the project. If it over runs (which they often do) I can tag on another couple of blocks.

      The week is still fresh and you don't spend all weekend anxious about the week to come.

      @@Maizeak, I'm not reviewing. I'm planning. Reviewing is regressive and a complete waste of time. Instead, I see what needs to be done when I work on a project.
