- Spell Cards 206-222 cleared. A montage of all the Last Words in Imperishable Night's Spell Practice mode.
Random notes:
- In some of these spell cards, I used the Malice Cannon exploit (I switch rapidly between Marisa and Alice for higher damage output). I did it in the spell cards I was confident I could pull of the exploit.
- In Yuyuko's Last Word, there's a blind spot, which is where I stood. I abuses the Malice Cannon glitch since all I had to do was sit still.
- In Yukari's spell card, I was tempted to graze as much as I can lol. - Ігри

She doesn't have any spellcards in normal play, no. Just her Last Word.

Where was that?
Eirin is arguably the strongest character of all Gensokyo inhabitants. Compared to Yukari, she was the mentor of Watatsuki no Toyohime who was stated by Yukari herself to be stronger than her. Unless Toyohime somehow surpassed her mentor, it´s safe to say Eirin is in a quite higher power level than Yukari.
Maybe her actual Last Word is an omnidirectional attack she doesn't use because Spell Cards rules bans impossible to dodge attacks

Tewi's last word messes with my head, the first wave is ok, but the second wave makes me go crazy. its like the screen is tilted, but its not at the same time
Ah, yeah. You need to make sure you're directly below her, since she angles it towards where you are when the spell starts. It took me so many tries to get it down.

I don't understand the Yukari history, but Fantasy Heaven also took me over 300 tries when I first started playing. It's a bullshit spell.
@@SackyBalls444 Funny enough, Marisa has remarked that if there was no timer, Fantasy Heaven would be impossible to dodge! Reimu has the ability to fly above reality itself.
Fantasy Heaven is fucking horrible, I can dodge a couple of waves (I'm mainly a normal-hard player so I'm not very good lol) but after a while it becomes too hectic. Yukari's one might have just been played over and over, but dodging it is incredibly difficult, actually figuring out each wave is one thing, then getting through each wave to the next to figure it out, then actually dodging each wave successfully, then memorising the order, then getting consistent-plus I think some parts of it are based on straight up dodging and not patterns per se?

i beat the phantasm stage on touhou 7 a few days ago after over 100 attempts. i saw yukari's last word, and i instantly wanted to die
I've heard IN described as one of the easier ones and SA as one of the harder ones. I did manage to be IN's extra and 1cc it on hard before. Definitely my favorite

Not really. The only reason this worked was out of luck. You'll fail most of the time trying to do that trick, but it won't take too much patience to get lucky.

use reimu/yukari, go at the bottom part of the screen (not moving horizontally) and stay there. hold shift for extra damage.
This montage reminds me of my first last word I've tried, the Emperor of the East when i managed to do it at the second try but didn't record the replay and it took me 118 tries to succeed and not forget to record it, funny spell

This happened to me when I tried the PCB Phantasm Stage, during the beginning. As I lost a life because I was way too close to the bullets, I restarted the game immediately. x)

I just realised that the red circles that appear in these last words get smaller every second and that "border of life" is written on it
The red circles appear in every spellcard starting from Touhou 7, but in each game they look a little different. I didn't know they had "border of life" written on it in this game though, that's cool.
Can someone tell me how do I unlock some of the last world spells ? Do I need to clear the game in a special way ?
I always found it funny that for Profound Danmaku Bounded Field, while every other character uses their IN portrait, Yukari? Just a recolored version of her PCB portrait and sprite.
When I went to capture that Last Word, I chose to just put on a loop of Necrofantasia, instead, to keep myself sane.

Emily Dickinson each last word has a requirement stated in the last words tab of spell practice. There's only two stage four bosses. Uncanny (reimu) if you chose magic or scarlet team. And powerful (Marisa) if you chose border or netherworld team

What are the conditions for last word spells? How do they appear in a regular run? I've seen Extra stage runs with and without last words.
"Last Word" is unlocked through certain feats, like finishing a game on a certain difficulty with certain characters.
What you're thinking of is "Last Spell," which is seen during a regular run. To encounter Last spell, you need to collect enough Time Orbs on the stage so that the clock only advances by 30 minutes instead of an hour. You'll unlock enough Time Orb as indicated on the right of the screen.
For the Extra Stage run, to unlock Mokou's Last Spell, you need to capture 7 spellcards in total. Keine's spellcards can be included.
Also you can unlock certain LW on certain difficulties like Keine's Emperor of the East, which needs one of her spells to be seen at Hard

Boundary Team has Reimu (human) and Yukari (youkai) and the Twilight Realm Team has Youmu (technically human since 50%) and Yuyuko (youkai)

I believe it's because it fit the spellcard better? The spellcard was originally from PCB, which is what palette this Last Word uses, and it would look weird to use Yukari's Imperishable Night palette in place of it.

No, her PCB sprite is the same purple-dress-red-ribbon palette as her normal IN sprite. The sprite for this spellcard, though, is a near-copy of the PCB sprite but with a red dress and blue ribbons. (And yet, the background effect still uses the PCB colors.)

Malice Cannon Glitch: When using the Magic Team, pressing the shift button on and off every half second or so creates an interesting effect. Both Marisa and Alice's shots will stay on screen at the same time, resulting in the Malice Cannon, which inflicts the most amount of damage on the opposition in all of IN. Other teams can use this, but it is the most pronounced with the Magic Team. It is similar to Marisa B's bug in Mountain of Faith in nature.

No, it is part of the official game. I forget the details, but you unlock "Last Word" Spellcards by completing certain paths and stuff. They are just spellcards you attempt and are not part of the story. I believe TouhouWiki.net has all the info on it.
