- This past week has been extremely stressful and difficult. But we made it, and it’s time to put the Nova aside, and bring back the little truck that started it all!

When the "old man" said he graduated in 1991 I about fell off of my chair when I came to the realization that I had done the same...4 years prior! Now that makes an old man feel Old! My best friend of 50 years had a birthday just yesterday. And even he has a week younger on me. Dang.
When shopping for stereo units I realized I still have the pioneer super tuner that was in my '70 442 when I was in high school. Still have the car too, thank GOD, but it's currently a rolling shell. Hoping this summer to make some progress and get back on the car and work towards making it live again.

That S-10 hooked me on SRC, OMG, GllG and I didn't care for drag racing until then. I thought it just was stomp it,hope the tires hook and go straight for a 1/4mile! Man was I wrong! I quit Nascar several years ago and drag racing has filled that void and now I want a street car, ideally a sleeper

Good morning Bill. You might want to check the module underneath the distributor cap. They get hot it will shut the truck off. Sometimes it will start back up once it cools down. But majority time it won't start back up but it just something you might want to check. Or I could be a bad ground or loose broken ground wire. Good luck

Went to Brown County for over 40 years. The Nashville House is an iconic restaurant that has almost stood still in time. Moved to South Texas and sure miss places like this. It's great to see it again.

Hello , is TriState Dragway still open for racing near Hamilton ?? I can remember going over there a few times back in the 90's for some Mopar drag racing and swap meets. It was pretty cool , with the grassy area between the lanes. Much like the one from Terre Haute , In. on its north side , near Sky King airport. It's long gone , turned into a subdivision , but you can still see the lanes , anyway.
Doggone it sure looks good the old Ditch Witch ready to run again. I miss seeing that old truck on the track. Happy Independence Day everybody

Takes me back a few years seeing kil Kare dragstrip. I made my first pass there over 20 years ago. I grew up there bracket racing with pops, good times. I haven't lived in ohio for almost 17 years now, looks like it's time to come back for a visit at least.

I've had that happen a few times picking a cars up (winch battery flat), luckily few times the trailer was on our Tilt tray/Rollback, so just used the trucks winch to pull it on. 🇦🇺

My brother found a 58 Chevy bel air 4 door at the scrap metal junk yard ready to be crushed and he was able to buy it for 1,200 bucks it came with an inline 6 that we was able to get running. We swapped a 350 in it now.
If you haven't shot those off yet, make sure you fasten down those mortar tubes. Screw them to a board or slip a brake rotor over them if the hubs big enough.

Can't tell you how many times I've had to make that 5 minute drive in 3 minutes to beat the doors closing. If I win the lottery someday. I'm gonna go on a spending spree, like they've never seen. Lol.
Like I said I'm blessed to live 5 minutes away. I feel for the folks that have to drive a long distance, to the parts supplier.

Happy Independence Day to SRC family and friends. There was a time that any stereo equipment that I owned was Pioneer. My 87' Ford Tempo had as good a stereo as our home. We upgraded our home stereo when we moved with a job transfer and that was state of the art well now it's practically an antique. That's why it's called racing instead of winning, but you have to be in the race to win. Keep grinding. Great to see S-10 back. Good luck, go fast and be safe. Another great video and just in time for my morning ritual of drinking my coffee on my back porch. I know fuel injection is nice but the way you can tune a carburetor I think if I was Jr. I would have stuck with what worked on the S10 but that's just me . I'm not ready into changing something that works flawless to experiment with so.ething new.
