I talked to a person who worked on this show as an extra and he said, ‘he knew the biggest reason why they cancelled this show’. There was an episode during the second season where the two brothers got arrested they were accused of ‘stealing’ from a hardware store. They were arrested because they were black. The people at Fox went crazy and felt ‘that didn’t happen anymore’(bullshit). Later in the year they took the show off for about 2 weeks and shortened the season from 24 to 21 episodes. A similar thing happened with ‘Roc’ later on!

It’s always the successful black men who would rather give their financial resources to non-bw women. I haven’t seen this show before, but clearly he had children with a bw. What happened to her?
Plus, we know he would have not been so ready and willing to take in a bw’s child from another marriage or relationship, yet he was fine accepting hers. Hypocrisy at its finest.

I read the reason the show was canceled was because the grandma died and not long after the 2nd replacement dad died; They both died of cancer
