I recently did the Brazilian blowout, and I am looking for a mark to help me with the shine and all the things you mentioned on your video, do you think that amika would help me? My nieces use this product, they said it is amazing.
When Amika changed their packaging and had everything on sale at Sephora a few months back, I got a bunch of different products to try. OMG it is my new favorite hair care brand and have not tried anything else in a while. The shampoos are awesome and the Bust Your Brass conditioner is AMAZING. It allowed me to go months in between appointments for my blonde highlights in my dark hair that always turns too warm. Lifesaver!!

I got the mask with an Amika hair dryer several years ago. Also included was a volumizing, protectant spray. I love my dryer and I also enjoyed the products. 😊💖
I love that hair mask! And you should also try their dry shampoo. I have dark hair, and it doesn't leave a white cast...it really makes my hair feel freshly shampooed. Also really like their detangler. : )
my marshals had a bunch of them for 16.99 I thought about buying it but didn't , I think ill go back in buy it now that u have gave ur opion on it .thank u
I’m so thankful you mentioned products at TJ MAXX being possibly out of date. I’m a hair stylist and I have to people all the time to open and smell hair care and skin care at those places. Check for separation Of the liquids too:)
Yes, I always check any cosmetics (although I rarely buy cosmetics there) or body and haircare product there before buying. The associates look at me weird but even if it's cheap, if its too old, its too old lol. Luckily this one was still in good shape.
Yeah....I just picked up yesterday at TJ MAXX from Amika. I have seen online everyone raving about the smell of the products. So I was so disappointed when I used it this morning and it did not smell good. I will smell things from now on! 👃
L'anza makes a fantastic one if you need moisture. It's a 10 is wonderful, Alterna has a great option. Virtue is another brand I would suggest checking out.
Saw this at Marshall’s just now and picked it up because I remembered you had mentioned it. I think it smells like the Sol de Janeiro bum bum cream!! I got the Triple Rx version.
My gray (the little I have, about 3% sprinkled throughout) is finer than the rest of my hair, and I already have fine hair, so the whites are really baby fine. It's odd how that can vary and change on your head. Oh, well, nothing you can do, right? ;) I like that you sometimes do hair masks! :D
My mom is in her 70s and gone mostly white. She dyes it blonde, a light blonde so you can almost not see the whites growing back in, which is why she only dyes it 4 times a year approximately. She has decided the gray is not for her, but she does encourage me not to dye my hair, especially not with so little gray still, 3% is like nothing in the grand scheme of things.
Just an FYI - Squalene means it contains shark. I would recommend moving away from anything that has squalene/squalane because it contributes to the mass slaughter of the ocean's apex species.
You don’t look your best? Please you are gorgeous, and before you talked about your hair i thought you purposely dyed it grey. Now I’m wondering about your age lol because I’m confused lol. Anyways I picked up the product at my local Marshall’s and I absolutely love it as well.
I am a hairdresser and I love this mask, I strongly recommend it to repair brittle, damaged or unruly hair. My clients absolutely love it !

It is supposed to smell really good... if it does not then it might have gone bad :( I wonder if you could take it back.
Not sure. It was only 10.00 so I may just call it a lesson learned!

My mom's gray is super fine now too. here's is mostly silver. Mine is still salt and pepper style and the pepper part seems to be more corse.

Most squalene is now sourced from plant sources like olives, amaranth, rice bran, wheat germ and sugar cane.
