I have owned 2 of them. Gave my first 1 to my son to lean on. Only 1 problem I had with both. Jack input. Can fix it with lock-tight on the nut, and larger screws to hold plate on. Upgrading the tuners is worth it for $80 if you wish.
I recently purchased the JS22 Monarkh in satin black. The tuning issues mentioned in the video I don't have. Luckily. What I did I replaced the original humbuckers with two humbuckers from Seymour Duncan, The SH1n (59) in neck position and the SH4 (JB) in the bridge position. Amazing sound now. I love ths guitar and for that price as he said in the video there is nothing to complain.
I bought 2. The first I gave to my niece. I missed it so I bought another.... Just for info, I had to fix the jack input on both. Comes loose and both needed resoldered. Connection to neck pickup on the first one, I had to fix. Kept cutting out. At the price, I recommend updating the tuners, and have a go over to make sure all connections are good. Lock tight in a couple places makes a great guitar.
No! You dont want to start with a guitar, which gets out of tune fast, like it is mentioned in the video. That will be just frustrating for a beginner.
@@NoahGetTheShip thats why the first thing beginners should learn is how to change strings and string up properly. 80 percent of issues will be solved that way. The nut might be corrected as well, but thats not really a beginner thing.
