This is just amazing. I went to Idyllwild couple of years ago for my hiking to San Jacinto peak, but never had a chance to explore this beautiful mountain town. After watching you video, i am thinking of spending a weekend here. its very beautiful with nature. Amazing video.

@@time2heal tbh, i think all of them are dog friendly. To be safe, I would stay at the restaurants around their center. There are plenty to choose from and plenty of dogs walking by too…

I was born just down the mountain, Always went up to idyllwild in the winter. Just to let you know Elvis did one of his movies there!

Do you know where to take dogs to play snow in Idylwild?
Yes the dogs in my vid with snow are in the center village, Idyllwild nature Center and deer springs trail

Dogs are not allowed on Deer Springs Trail, but are allowed on devils slide trail. Rangers do patrol Deer Springs trail, I've encountered them quit a bit there.
