23:20 this is actually true because the way we bred some of these animals makes them too reliant on us. some species would be fine like the texas longhorn and some other cattle species but I can't see a good future for the chickens
They wouldn't go extinct. Over here on the ranches of new Mexico you can pretty much let them run around and dont really need to worry about feeding them, just make sure they have water. Those birds are pretty capable of taking care of themselves if need be
I always thought that showerthoughts was meant to be a somewhat lighthearted thing, something like “huh I guess I never really thought about this, cool” and then you move on with your life , not some deep existential, philosophical discussions.
Don’t get why they were ragging on the subreddit so much for trying too hard when the subreddit is pretty much just fluff without too much substance? Even the edgy posts are tame in comparison to other contents you can find both in and outside of reddit.
I recently came across a 2 sentence horror that's actually really good: After the Christian Rapture happened to everyone's considerable shock, those left behind (and those born to them after) all had a strange, unremovable marking appear on their foreheads. It took decades to translate, but the result was horrifying; "Do not harvest, not fit for consumption."
It can be written much more concisely so it sucks. Here is a better version: They got mark. It say no eat.

That isn't close to all of them. Maybe series one. But the best SCPs are like, the Cthulhu SCP that's sick of people trying to worship him, or the memetic hazards like the infamous Bodies In the Water.
The reason is because series 1 ruined scp. It's rhe first series, so it was anarchy. They're all op bullshit, apart from a good few. But most modern scps are good. Scp-5000 is a beautiful story that i was engaged in the entire time

Not even close to most. Most scp’s are unique and not op in any way. Yeah some scp’s are super op but that is to be expected
At some point i thought that i wanted to listen this podcast but you were a lot of episodes in. I had to decide between listening from the start or from then. I chose frome the start and today i finally caught up with the current episodes. It took a very long time but i enjoyed it. I love this show very much and i am happy to now have not so outdated topics either. Keep up the good work boys!
