Stunning timelapses mate. Since I've started getting treatment for PTSD with anxiety and depression I've quit work, and tried to reach out to everyone who'll listen about mental health. While preventing suicide is critical, getting treatment improves all of your life dramatically. I've been amazed as the load has lifted and the cloud in my head has cleared. I started with my GP, recommend that path to everyone. Remember Lifeline 13114.

I have been under care for quite some years now with manic depression mainly from work related issues. I do not talk about it much because it is a bloke thing however when I see others or a worthwhile program like the one you & others are mentioning hear I will wholeheartedly come out in support. Awesome video Gavin!! I have been in and out of FIFO since 2008, most of my time in the industry was spent in the emergency services field. Its very sad how many people you dont realise are suffering from mental health issues until its too late. I myself have had many depressed moments being away from family and friends for long extensive periods of time. I have been following your 4wd series since your CSR run and realise I need to get out 4wding more myself. Currently getting the family more involved in it and supplementing it with my passion for landscape photography. Keep up the awesome work mate!!
Spot on Gavin. FIFO mining seems to have the same issues as defence, a lot of down tool time, extra cash and bad habits with single blokes. I am on the young combat veterans committee at our RSL and we do the same thing, get the boys and girls out of town and involved in sport and community outreach projects. Something about the bush that remedies all given half a chance. Cheers mate. ATB Moose
