Hello Giacomo, I did wonder why you choosed Consign to Oblivion to react as it was an old Epica album, in fact their second one in 2005. I now undertstand that you love the song Consign to Oblivion. But their first two albums are more traditional symphonic metal, like Nightwish. They started to evolve with their third album, becoming more diverse and somtimes more heavier with the inclusion of elements of death and black metal. I recommand you to check out their excellent album The Quantum Enigma from 2014 to see this evolution.
After Consign to Oblivion, Simone started also to evolve in her singing. In their first two albums she was heavyly influenced by Tarja who was Nightwish's singer at the Time
As for Unleashed , it is a very good song often really loved by the Epicans even if it does not have the contrast between the growlings from Mark and the angelic voice of Simone.
    Have a good day !
