- Many of the very early releases on this Trouble on Vinyl drum & bass imprint actually contained 3 tracks instead of the standard 2; the third song being an experimental or downtempo piece. On this release by Shogun, the first two tracks (Nautilus and Together) were two of the most popular intelligent/atmospheric tunes from back in the day and were hammered by the likes of LTJ Bukem and Fabio back then. The third track, Latin Nights, is simply a lush hip hop instrumental. It's got all of the complex arrangements going on that its' much faster counterparts on this 12" have: rhodes, pianos, sax loops, strings, you name it. One for the afterhours crew.
Honestly, I feel like I’ve listened to this 250 times. Absolute gem.
Personal favourite from back in the day. I could never not like this tune.
I heard this on James Lavelles mix. Lovely lovely lovely track. Miss them days.
PFM and Lomax- Damn they rocked this genre.
