I recently started playing VDT and fell in love. Great video very helpful in softening the learning curve. Against the Elites I play Between Colours and Fusion/Neuro as AP eats Elites. If necessary charge hope for a crit and Murderous Entrance. Once I knock down two elites its way easier to handle them.
Porting comments from original video @Reroll121 Thanks for the overview! Played Tzaangor heavy Warpcoven into Void-dancers last night and they’re hard to keep track of. This overview will support a lot of people, cheers!
@Ryan LaMantia I really enjoyed your perspective on tac ops/secondary's. I was hopingyou would mention Tac Ploys Ruthless Derision and Capricious role. I have a hard time finding use for them, which is maybe why they didnt make the video lol.
Haha, that's exactly it. I think Capricious Role is situational but being able to charge from melee is amazing. If you have the CP to spare it's a useful one to have in your back pocket. The dash out of melee I find less useful as you have 3APL Ruthless Derision you could combo with Comedy or Curtain Falls or just a fall back and shoot. It could be good on a fusion but really situational again :D
@Gilzam Not sure how you record your audio, but please check your levels. My phones volume is turned all the way up and I have to hold it against my ear
I don't think Epic does let you trigger Murderous Entrance without rolling a crit naturally. The wording on Epic is pretty specific, you strike or parry with a normal hit as if it was a crit. Murderous Entrance requires that you strike with a crit, which isn't happening with the strike from Epic.
The interpretation I've seen is that you strike as though it were a crit, meaning it's a crit for all purposes, e.g., damage, stun/reap, ability to trigger murderous entrance etc.
@@rashestfern9693 I’ve seen both, although more usually the no triggering ME interpretation. It’s definitely one to clear up with the TO before an event.
Awesome! I needed a primer on Void Dancers (playing them for the first time in a week) and this video was really helpful.
@Rob
Just built a harlequin kill team today. Perfect video for me 👍

I just ordered the miniatures for a VDT so this video gave me some really useful ideas!

Hopefully it's a bit better now!
Great video!
Dude your points are great but it would be great if you would articulate properly and use a better microphone. Love the insights on the team.

Will do, and it's a good thing to point out for people watching, cheers!
