I’m starting my first official garden this year also. I had one when we lived at our apartment but this year I have a yard with a house and I decided to do this thing for real. I’m nervous also but I’m going to be praying over it. Praying your garden is successful.
New freind here. Excited for you and your new journey. There is a great growing community on the tube. We have some vids up also and looking forward to sharing and learning together. Blessings Sis...😊 Edit to add: go and get an affiliate link for those beds and put it in the description. (Suggestion)
Those little mini greenhouses are absolutely adorable. I’m interested where did you get them and where did you get the raised beds? I’ve been looking at our local tractor supply Walmart and Rural King and I found nothing.
You can be lazy when gardening, over babying the plants can kill them. Also, check before you water plants. (Stick your finger into the soil, at least half of your finger, and if it’s dry water, if it’s damp depending on weather you can water, if still wet don’t water) Also good luck!!!!
I heard when you said you dont care anymore and I am not going to criticize But, soil ( not dirt) is the most important thing on any garden, from here what you bought does not look so good, also mulch is VIP to save water but vegetable gardens need natural muck, make sure the one you got has not tints / fake inks, may not be soo good for eating. and comb you tube, all the info about veg gardens are here to help you. good luck.
@@KodyandMeg 4 years ago my sister bought a similar mix , it was sand, top soil and compost , lots or worms but was too heavy / compact for raise beds , some plants will be happy. others no so much, the first year work good. me I like to use that mix as a filler and last 12 inches with my own mix or I buy h quality soil for containers. ( and "fix it " If I think it needs it.) hope to see more of your garden :)
I’m going in Year 3 of gardening and I’m pretty good I feel like at it but houseplants is a totally different story 😂 my house is where they go to not survive. 😂😂
It's refreshing to see someone starting from scratch. Keep at it!
So scary but hoping for the best. Thanks for watching!
Now you've started gardening, you won't stop, sooo addictive 😊

What we got was a “compost mix” made for raised beds, but we also mixed in our own composts I just forgot to mention it! Thanks for the tips!
