So many people draw similarities between SCR4P-E and Marvin (the paranoid android) but I haven't seen anyone make a connection to 790, the lovesick robot head on wheels from the extremely weird late 90s Canadian TV show The Lexx. The lamentation of SCR4P-E sounds so 790-like! Fabulous gift Estefannie, just perfect for the year, :)

Yo I have two ideas, you could 1) try to make the buttons less reflective and 2) switch out the servos for 8 different lasers that are triggered by an arduino. No sound + no unwanted reflection.

Heh, nice. I got anxiety just watching it jet around at high speed. Rather clever little hack you put together from an existing item repurposed. Those cats though at the end... both meowing. I think they were trying to communicate with the cat keyboard (love that thing, and not just because it has a laser in it) :)
I fully expected that robot to make a sound like a pig as it would in it's previous incarnation as a child's phone. Also thanks for this video to bring this year closer to the end!
Maybe put a bit of aluminum foil or white tape over the buttons for the cats to jump on the laser :). It seemed to help in his meowsical keyboard revision
