Matthew I agree with you people need to keep their vehicle doors locked goin wherever it might be the few seconds they need to get away from carjackers just my opinion.
My son in love builds and races cars. He picked me up from work one evening at 8 pm. We came down a busy road in our town and turned on the green arrow, when SOMEONE came flying thru a red light on the side street. I STILL don't understand what James did that kept us from being hit. STAMPING on the gas, Some kind of ninja moves with the shifter, Then STAMP on the gas again......and pulled off the road into a gas station on the corner and speedie Gonzales FLEW past us....."i" didnt even SEE that other car til all the excitement was over......😖......an officer came running over to us, "are u folks ok?" James told him yes.... but Grama was a little shook👀....."that was some pretty fancy driving there, cowboy! Do u race?"......THAT'S when I found out my son in love was race car driving on week ends🤯
Touchdown! watching that man after he just hugged the dude that was running from the police. LOL! that made my day! He was just in the right place at the right time, a true example of what we all should strive to be more like, not in every instance should you get involved but when it will make a difference then you must, our culture of just video taping while people are hurt right in front of crowds of people who are less human than they know, I myself have experienced this and it never fails to astound me, it really makes you feel alone. knowing that they were watching someone attempt to take a life and just literally stand there, it feels like they are fine with whatever kthe outcome as long as it is not them. Please help when you see a person being abused, just call help if nothing else but recording should be the last thing that happens
I can’t imagine the skill it would take to control a Mustang at those speeds. I drove one for a few years & know about the curves with those. I also drove a German car for a few years & it handled the corners very well.
Imagine today’s interactions with police, crime has gotten so much worse & the criminals are far more dangerous. So disheartening that our world has come to this.
There is another version of this episode where they had an LA truck chase with a Dodge Ram; the guy was shot and killed underneath a bridge. It was shown before that last chase with the Ryder truck
I don't know how the hell that burglar didn't get seriously hurt from falling that high. Maybe he did, idk lol. Lucky for the 3 robbers too. 19:09 Wow, first clip I've seen from England.
Anyone who drives a motorcycle, and has more than two functioning brain cells, knows that it doesn’t take much to lay down your bike & seriously injure or kill yourself. An oil slick, gravel, ice, loose dirt or road debris can cause you to lay your bike down & cause you serious injury or potentially death. I know someone who laid their bike down, with their wife on it too, in a drive through at a fast food place. Someone’s car had leaked oil there previously & when this friend went to pull forward he hit that oil slick & laid down his bike. PS, those Harleys are quite heavy & most people cannot lift their bike up themselves.
The Mercedes-Benz chase that was shown was also on Real Stories of the Highway Patrol and on that show, it mentioned the suspect took a guilty plea in North Carolina and he was sentenced to 7 years. It also mentioned about his then-impending charges in South Carolina once he got released
@@SpartacusErectus Yeah, so do I. Had that dude tried that crap on me, let's just say he would never be able to do that again...to anyone. Of course in cuckafornia their pee-nile system allows for the perfect conditions for breeding, and multiplying, criminals. With their "gun laws", criminals breed and multiply at a much faster rate than the rest of the country. Every state should allow guns, and have capitol punishment laws, like Texas. The industry leader in my book.
Dude in 1st video is going to feel that 3 story fall later, adrenaline keeps you from feeling the pain you would otherwise feel immediately. I have fibromyalgia & know about delayed pain response.
As a motorcycle rider myself this is why I just obey the law and the lights, I know people think it’s fun to run but I’ve heard too many stories about motorcycle riders die or get arrested honestly it’s not worth your life
Gee, a biker speeding in SoCal….any CA resident will tell you high speed pursuits are common here, with LA being the car chase capitol of the world. This is not a distinction to be proud of.
There is something wrong with their brain is really all the explanation needed. Anyone who chooses to get chased by cops ain't right in the head. Add to that the drag show and you have a top candidate.
Thats the big problem with society in general, its none of anybody's business. He broke the law and he paid his dues, they rest of how he lives his life has nothing to do with anyone.
Honestly I felt so bad for the guy at 34:51 , he literally only ran because he was so embarrassed and scared someone would find out about his lifestyle… I mean I totally understand it’s eluding, but he was on the phone with dispatch talking calmly the whole time and it was totally clear he only ran out of embarrassment over how he was dressed… no one should feel that ashamed for what they enjoy doing or dressing like. I just really felt for that guy because I could completely understand the fear he was processing… A grown man in the south that enjoys wearing women’s clothing would absolutely face a stigma, even today, I can’t image back then… I mean it didn’t exactly help that he sounded like Buffalo Bill in Silence of the Lambs but that was more of a coincidence than anything else lol
People who own Camper Vans tend to be the definition of Sketchy. People who choose to upgrade their Pick up truck into a Camper by buying an add on to go on top is just as sketchy,
I can't understand why these police would have police pursuits jeopardizing so many lives over a vehicle or something small I could see homicide. My cousin died because of a high-speed chase. Innocent people's lives are jeopardized. Then on top of jeopardizing lives you ruin lots of people's vehicles over one vehicle and one person.
The name for this show is all wrong. These aren't the 'World's' scariest car chases, this is an American phenomenon. The show should be called America's Biggest Losers. It should be aired weekly, and the sentences should be both lengthy and aired. The sentences should be proportional to the length of time eluding police and speed. Six months behind bars for each minute of pursuit over the speed limit and one year per minute for speeds exceeding 50% over the speed limit. And all damages caused to anything are to be worked off doing hard labour in prison. As it is, the policing and penalties in California are such a joke that people want to get in car chases with the police for notoriety.
I always hated the dramatisation of these American shows. "He just missed that car by inches" when he was 3-4 feet away from the car. "He somehow got past the roadblock" ....there's a huge gap in the roadblock. Words like amazingly, astonishingly, unbelievably, etc

So much Nostalgia in watching these.
Dope video 🎉🎉
Used to spend hours watching this show as a kid in the early 2000s. Good times.
These videos are an invaluable public service in that they show what law enforcement officers deal with on a daily basis!
Thanks for putting these up and showing what cops go through every day

I’d like to see John Bunnell hosting this show with his son Mark.
To everyone that reads this, really take his words serious, don’t run or flee from the police…it’s not worth it😔

Unless you have explosives

even more so than Paulie Walnuts
I remember most of these from when I was young. It's amazing how long older cars and trucks last when just beaten. New cars can't do these things.
Thank you for putting these up

Hopefully he wasn’t federally imprisoned
Never, ever piss off a lady cop!
40:09 who is the pilot in that video?? Not Larry Welke
That cop that had to chase that car was in violation as well. "Loss of control" of a motor vehicle.
They say there's a fool born every minute and this pretty much proves that point, but they provide entertainment for the rest of us.
The fake chopper pilot voiceover is the same guy in every clip 😂
its fun tho
I used to know the son to the inventor of the helicopter, Igor Sikorsky. His son’s name was George.
Police chase a set of bank robbers, end up catching a pair of burglars instead.
