Norrie Paramor was a British record producer, composer, arranger, and orchestral conductor.
As an inhouse producer at EMI Columbia , Paramor produced hit singles for Cliff Richard, The Shadows, and Frank Ifield among others, scoring 26 UK number ones.

The original is by Yannis Markopoulos. My Mum also loved the series and bought the soundtrack album by him. This arrangement is very close to the original.
