Watch my bus journey from Mumbai to Pune by MSRTC Shivneri Scania bus in very heavy rains. There was water logging at various places in Mumbai. I was informed by the driver that after our bus all the other Shivneri buses had been stopped till the rain resides. I caught the 10:30 am bus from Dadar TT and the fare was Rs. 440 to Nigdi. The bus was cruising at 85 kmph.

I would not say well trained driving, I am happy the journey was safe. When you see the video you can see many places the driving was dangerous. There is no safe distance , despite it was raining, crossing solid white line for over taking, honking where no one can go any where , changing lane very close to vehicle ahead. dangerous bus driving.

The MSRC should give the drivers and conductors a good uniform to match the bus, they should look like pilots.
This will motivate them further.

I think.the driver missed the *Somatne/Dehu Road Exit* so he had to go all the way upto end of Expway, take B'lore Pune Hway and again right from Dehu Road Police Station :-at point where lady asked in marathi which way have we come from? We should have come straight from here (here means Somatne, Begdewadi route) Because the way he replied (No, I took another route due traffic back there) had kind of tone when you cover up your fault 😀...
Shivneri, Hirkani, Parivartan buses take Somatne exit and then go via Somatne Village, Somatne Toll, NH-4 old Hway, Begdewadi, Dehu Road, Nigdi...
Very rarely Shivneri drivers avoid both roads and take Mukai Chowk, Ravet, Akurdi, Pradhikaran, Nigdi route after exiting Expway at its end point (Mukai Chowk Ravet)
Yes even I felt he had missed something. However I usually get down at wakad so I didn't knw this route.

One exit is just at Talegaon Toll
2nd at Somatne
3rd at Kiwale (before end of Expway)

The food plaza where the bus took the halt, there the lady was running to prevent herself from getting wet. But just notice her negligence. Behind her even 2 kids were running to seek shelter and to prevent from getting wet. She was not at all alert that there are multiple huge buses arriving at that food stall and on top of that the heavy pouring. Any mishap might had been occurred with that 2 kids.
