This has become one of my favourite, 'go-to' songs. The way you teach and break the songs down really suits my own style of learning - if only I had met someone like you when I was a kid and trying to learn piano! Needless to say that I didn't and still cannot!!!!

The best thing to do to learn to strum in 4/4 is learn to count eighth notes ...one and two and three and four and .. ..the numbers are down strums the ands are up.... learning to count is invaluable. Music is math...you cant escape that....use a metronome and count along to music when you listen ....find songs that are in 4/4 identify them and count along....cheers
