I woule like to mention two traditions which really has helped me for rule my empire. "Recognition of Talent" gives you strong hooks on anyone you pardon, really helpful against vassals you cant or dont want to imprison, but also keep them from joining factions. The 2nd tradition is "Mystical Ancestors", which gives renown & piety when granting titles to housemembers.

I finally found your series and got into the game - as I thought, it's a lot of fun once I grasped new mechanics! Great job and once again, thanks!
While agreeing to everything about the leveling of the court. There is ONE penalty for one of them : FOOD. Past level 2, you actually get a Feast Weight debuff, a Base Weight debuff (30 is huge) AND more chances to get Gout Ridden. That's the only one being quite detrimental by upgrading it.
Every other CK3 YT creator: "look at all these features." PartyElite: "here's how you can use these features smartly" Also, that history museum snipe was just precious
The De-Jure integration steward ability is really useful when playing a non- war focused character and if you're a vassal in a pretty centralised empire/kingdom especially if you want that one or two counties within your de-jure duchy of an important ally you can't afford to loose or wage war with. As a count made king of lothringia I used it to claim east francian land to get counties within the kingdom borders while having the king as my ally. It's only useful with a steward with high enough steward skill though. Shortest integration time for me was around 12 years so yeah it does take long but it can be worth it to enable Ursupations for needed kingdom titles like in the HRE forming event.
I thought the "Exoticize A Grand Hall" decision would bring visual changes to my court, but sadly no. Started the game as a French King (and of course with French culture), and now just a Dutchy away to restore the Roman Empire. BUT! even though my capital is now Roma, the most developed city in the world, my throne room looks terribly ancient (dark, wood and bricks!) while my some of my vassals have their court decorated with beautiful marbles. this feels so not right xd. so I wonder if adopting to another culture with better architecture is the only way to get better court design. hope the team can fix this and let players get new court architecture as the game progresses.
2:30 the previous strategy was to save up 1,500 prestige for Feudal “elections” for a given ducky and in that way completely bypass inheritance. The only draw back being landed player heirs would sometimes be unable to run for the position. I forgot to mention, this strat works due to the player being the only elector inside said duchy
Holy shit this looks great. I mean I'm dreading it, because I'm only just feeling competent at parsing all the less surface-level systems of vanilla CK3 (well I guess plus northern lords), but it looks like a lot of fun. Assuming my realm doesn't just explode going out of tribal again.
Some major advice is don't blob out and then switch to feudal as tribal stay tribal until you get a solid income or thousands in gold for the painful transition. Suddenly your empire will be as weakend as b4 royal Court when you switch to feudal from tribal, but now you will require a huge amount of grandeur for your massive 100 County empire. Lost a form Slavia run with Wendy's empire and Russia already formed with just a little bit of the balklands left.
@@sethboyd5354 Ha, definitely made that mistake before. Got a bit ambitious and took over a weakened khazaria (they were massive) as Novgorod. Tripled the size of my territory overnight. As a heathen. Boom goes the empire.
Kinda un-related but watching this made me decide to get back into CKIII and I was just dreading trying to work out my mods when I noticed that steam finally updated their god-awful workshop that have had so many broken or incomplete things for years. Not sure how good it is now but it's already miles better then it was before. Imagine wanting to sort mods by the last updated instead of last published like some kind of ne'er-do-weller or when you tell your collection to order alphabetically it actually listens

Can you actually assign court positions to your heir? My un-landed heir is ineligible for any position. (He has a genius trade and high learning plus good stats all round; normally, that qualifies for a good number of positions.)
Question: When going from Tribal to Feudal with an Empire, my court SUCKED. I did this during a succession and that was a bad idea. Here's the question: If you don't 'trigger' the court tutorial, can you hold off on having the impacts to player opinion?
Quick Question: Can you change title of character? If you don't Understand: You have Emperor, but you want to be called High King for example, can you do it?
This is a really late response, but yes and no. While you can’t just choose your title, titles are based off of the culture group you’re a part of, I’m pretty sure. For example in my last Playthru I made a hybrid culture between the Anglo Saxon and the Dutch, and because I chose to make the culture central Germanic I became the Kaiser of Britannia. I’m not actually sure if that’s because of what I did with the culture, that could just be what the emperor title is called, but I’m pretty sure this is how it works.
I've definitely been spotting some things that I think are new, in that regard, but I'm not 100% sure here. It's been so long I've been playing this version, it's all a blur
What are the requirements for Promote Cultural Acceptance task for the steward? Noticed you mentioned the other locked task requirements but skipped over that one, doesn't show in my game 😒
I think it's just own a county that is a different culture. Might need to be the same religion idk. I just started a new tutorial game (skipped the lessons at the beginning) I eventually got Dublin and it's available now. I figured a tutorial game is the best way to get to mess around with the new stuff fastest in a kind of easy environment
music (7:18 ) from the game is too loud :( Maybe for people who speak perfectly in English, it's not a problem, but for a person like me who does not speak the best English (because I studied other languages at school) listening to what the person says and the music is quite loud, it disturbs in understanding what this person wants to convey to me. I do not want to be malicious, I just emphasize that too loud music may be problematic
I don't think there is any point in playing this game, your heirs always seem to go off visiting other courts, and you then lose influence over them. Can hardly ever get them back, happens even if the spouse is lowborn with no relatives. Its a broken game mechanic specifically designed to frustrate the player base. It's been going on forever in this game, so some clown invented this years ago and for some reason paradox still thinks this is a good idea. It isn't. People have complained bitterly on the forums about this, but paradox is TOXIC to feedback. It's a factor when you decide whether to buy an expansion or not, and this kind of player frustration doesn't often translate into future sales.
shame microsoft are cowards so rename is disabled in *all titles* on game pass. (For clarity, all games I didnt even think about the mechanical meaning of the expression in terms of CK lmao)

How do I even know if a court position will give prestige to the vassal? Doesn't seem to appear on the screen.
If you hover over the name of the title, you'll get a tooltip that mentions all the effects, including what it does for the person with the title.

Yep - while the overhaul to how culture works is free, all the modification of culture (like hybridization) requires the DLC.
