They definitely have the ability to do a side line in van construction if they wanted to. If I was at a spot right now where I could I would probably have to jump on that. I didn't even know that last was a thing, but it makes perfect sense for a space that small, and only 300-400 watts? Nice!
Very impressive and ingenious to say the least. You've managed to strike the sometimes elusive and difficult balance between form and function. Your consideration of airflow and ventilation to counter the potential for mold is commendable.

This is excellent I have the same roof design in my head. So happy to see That someone pulled it off successfully. Now I can get to work with even greater confidence.
Been browsing dozens of van videos. This is my favorite so far. Everything is really thought out pretty much perfect. The only problem I see is the low ceiling height for the bedroom, which of course is necessary because of their ski/snowboard/biking equipment garage. Bedroom height would be much better with a smaller garage I'm guessing.
OR they could raise the roof. Seen it done by a lady on UA-cam. She said she got a company to do it before she started her renovations. I think they were a fibreglass company that works on boats.
Also, if you are starting from scratch with a conversion, they sell Sprinters factory made with the higher roof. Honestly, if I was going to be making the investment in a Sprinter, which are so expensive, I would just buy the high roof automatically. Just so much more comfortable and livable-worth the money. Where I live a lot of contractors have Sprinters and at least half have the raised roof.
That might be the perfect van. Radiant floor heating, duct work spread out, A/C, shower/toilet, venting everywhere. Loaded with power. Love the corner shelves in BR. Everything quality. Amazing!
This is nice one of the best Van builds I've seen it has everything to live in full-time I would need a TV laptops and tablets aren't big enough and I still need my video games and this is what I would want it's just to pricey for me
This build stealth van/cabin is, by far my favorite build you've videoed ,awesome, 😎😎😎👍👍👍!!! Thanks again for the videos, plz, keep them coming? Eric Sulen, Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA.
Jeez with 1kw of power on the roof and the alternator this dude could potentially live off grid for months on end this is an insanely good build. Kudos!!
Amazing van! So few people do the double floor for ducting and insulation purposes. I like the spray foam insulation, little worried about what I've read about off gassing but can't argue with the R value. I've never heard about using a dog kennel AC to cool the sleeping space in a van, next level idea here! I would only use it when I sleep so why not? I wonder how long the AC can run off the batteries on average? Why are they possibly selling? I'm guessing you sit while you shower? Why not, I guess. I really like the garage and how they enclosed the bed area with its own window. I'm starting to see some vans with solar panels that can work underneath the roof rack and or slide out horizontally once you reach a camp site to allow for full use of the rack. If you see this, please do a video! 40 gallon water tank is amazing and the sink is huge. Thanks for this incredible DIY build conversion!
Thank you. The AC I'd have to look up but if it runs off 350watts then you'd have to do the math on how many amp hours your batteries are and you can tell if it can run all night. I'm sure it's on a thermostat and it cycles on and off which helps a little bit
Nice that he is an electrician and his dad a carpenter. We can see the ideas their professional minds thought up. Much care was given to avoid potential mold issues. Just to add some thoughts of my own. One of the tubes along the roof line could hold a rolling awning to create a nice covered outdoor space. I would try to have the entire kitchen set up on the sliding door side of the van. Maybe a slightly smaller sink with a counter that would fold down over top of it. Have the cook top on the counter that folds up by the door or use a portable cook top that can be stowed.. I would use the space between the oversized (love it) shower and the drivers seat for a lounge area with a folding table. Move the rear solar panels forward a bit on the roof and put in a skylight above the bed. Move the video monitor to the lounge area.
His Dad did an amazing job on the woodwork, can tell he has done it all nice and strong like they used to make things old school not like the crap they make these days, great job on the video just a shame that sound was going on during the video it hurt my head lol
First vid. that I have come across so far that said anything about mold! Great ideas to add to my home/van plans! Happy travels and blessings from PDX!

Definitely one of the best van builds I've seen so far. Great job. I will be incorporating some of these ideas starting with swivel seats and the raised solar panels
Wow, it’s like you stole my design plans I’ve been sitting on for the last year. ☺ Actually my proposed layout is fairly different, but almost scary the same solutions to the common mechanical designed issues I’ve yet to see on so many other layouts. For years I’ve watched others try to squeeze solar modules as close to the vent covers as possible and risk shading issues….”um, hello, the 3’x6’ solar modules make awesome vent covers, use them!”. I had planned on custom aluminum side “skirts” to obscure the view of the panels from the ground, but love the low-cost and functional design of the drainpipes. The 3rd vent above the fridge and a/c is also identical to my plans (except I plan to use a tiny window unit and drip tray). This is another area that seems like a no-brainer, but I’ve yet to see on others builds. Excellent design and execution of your build! Another great interview Jarrod!

Amazing!
This is nice one of the best Van builds I've seen it has everything to live in full-time I would need a TV laptops and tablets aren't big enough and I still need my video games and this is what I would want it's just to pricey for me
That's absolutely beautiful, the quality of the woodwork and electrical work is just outstanding
Beautiful job on the van!
This whole video is is stunning, inspiring and worst of all envy initiating. Fantastic, I want one (please!)
Amazing! Giving me lots of great ideas👍
One of the best application of technology I have seen , bravo 👏🏽
Wow.... amazing!!!! And a a/c... for the bedroom???? Holy Moly!!!! Perfect!!!!
By far the nicest one I've seen! Cool ride! Just need an awning and a hammock for the outside!
Very nice, and professional build. I'm sorry, I gotta also say how lucky you are... Bell is gorgeous.
Yeah but she dresses like a bin racoon. Get some jeans without hobo holes.
Belle is Awesome!
This build stealth van/cabin is, by far my favorite build you've videoed ,awesome, 😎😎😎👍👍👍!!! Thanks again for the videos, plz, keep them coming? Eric Sulen, Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA.
That is one Awesome Van👏🏻👏🏻♥️♥️
Jeez with 1kw of power on the roof and the alternator this dude could potentially live off grid for months on end this is an insanely good build. Kudos!!
"Live free or try" catchy name. I like it.
Beautiful build. Love the hound A/C. Didn't think it was possible from solar/batteries. Great job! Thanks for sharing.
"You nailed it" & "This was a pain to polyurethane" that girl is funny!
I've been lurking these van builds for a few months now, this is the best execution I've seen BY FAR.
Should be a VanLife show on HGTV, promote it to them....
Except for all the mentions of M O L D.
I would watch that.
Jarrod thanks for uploading all these great Van conversion. I finally have my wife on board.
His Dad did an amazing job on the woodwork, can tell he has done it all nice and strong like they used to make things old school not like the crap they make these days, great job on the video just a shame that sound was going on during the video it hurt my head lol
I’m saving this for when I start one. So many smart decisions in this van.
Love this channel. Thanks for everything!!
Thank you 😊
First vid. that I have come across so far that said anything about mold! Great ideas to add to my home/van plans! Happy travels and blessings from PDX!
I believe if this man would make more vans just like his he could outstage the camper industry
Very clean and quality work, and absolutely cosy.
I know this is sold, but would totally buy this if it wasn't. He and his dad need to make a shop for van conversion. I bet they would make a good living from it.
I’ve seen a LOT of van builds and this is AMAZING! Great design and well executed. Dude looks exactly like my little brother. Totally inspired by the details of this... THANKS!!!!!
I love out of all the stuff that went into the van, the mantle said, "JESUS" 🤟🏾
Best thing in the van In think!!😀

Amen to that!
One of the nicest vans I have even seen done. Wish it was mine.
0:02 their smiles go away at precisely the same time 😂
Lol
Lol
Definitely one of the best van builds I've seen so far. Great job. I will be incorporating some of these ideas starting with swivel seats and the raised solar panels
Holy shit that van is amazing
I have watched alot of van builds and this is the most well thought out build.
Nice jeans ass at 3:23; 9:50; 13:57 & on..
This is the sweetest stealth van build I’ve ever seen, super nice work!
What a great van. It fits all that I wanted into one compact place.
Oven: *exists*
Americans: can I cook a turkey in you
Lol yes. The basic assumption is if I can cook a turkey in it, I can essentially cook anything in it.
By far the best conversion van I've ever seen.
Rory Dean shoot maybe you should make vans for people lol
Great minds, Rory.

Phenomenal build. Looked at the UA-cam link & considering selling my rental property to afford this. This is calling my name.
ONE OF THE BEST
That is a fantastic van and really well designed! Learned a few more van build secrets on this stealth project. Thank you for sharing!
Curious what they have up front for their entertainment system!
Oh nice they actually implemented a sitting shower, I was wondering why people weren’t doing that. Also this was pretty informative, great build.
