Very well played game of chess for a seven year old. It took him a minute to push the final pawn before the rook sacrifice, but he figured it out. Awesome job!!!
White blundered though. It was a even. At 8:18, all he had to do was push his most advanced pawn. Black can't catch it immediately allowing the white king to catch up. Don't get me wrong, though. This level of chess in a 7 YO is amazing.
@@unstablepc5913 No, he was perfect move for move, for the most part. He knew exactly how to make space when he pushed his pawn up. Didn't see it coming. It was an inevitable outcome unseen sadly for white.
Tash Sorry to tell you this, but you are wrong. Yes, the kid is amazing, and honestly; would probably obliterate me in a game of chess. That doesn’t change the fact that white blundered, and gave the win to black. White had at least a stalemate, and possibly could’ve had a winning move (I say possibly because I didn’t check for that).
The kid didn't play well at all. The only reason he won the game is because of opponent's weakness. 8:08 After exchanging rooks, black's position is lost. 1. Rxf3 Rxf3 2. Kxf3 g2 3. Kxg2 Ke5 4. c5! (instead of 4. Kf2?? played in the game) and white wins easily. After g3 the only chance that black has is: 1. Rxf3 g2! Rxf5+ Kg6 3. Rf8 Kg7 4. Rb8 g1=Q 5. Rxb7+ and in this position black has some chances to probably win the game with a queen against rook and three connected pawns.

Great job. He took his time when it really mattered most. The pawn sac to gain king position was brilliant (8:07). I don't think I would been able to calculate that out to a win as quickly as he did.
That pawn sac is a complete blunder (game is now drawn), but white misplayed his own king moves horribly. EDIT: In fact, after black pushed g2 white is winning.
@@nikikiiskinen183 I stand corrected. I didn't see a4-a5-a6, creating an unstoppable passed pawn. Oops. Still, it was a very creatively played endgame, in time trouble. Especially for a 7 year old.
7:26 Kid's mind: Wait! If I this this this and this A few seconds later..... Kid: I got it Big guy: Took you long enough, now I'm going to obliterate you *Add "Last Surprise" in the background*
Oof! This match was REALLY intense! I liked when the kid hit dude-man with the horse-estershire maneuver but dude-man countered with the double pawn rasengan (which the kid didn’t see coming at all). But ultimately the kid pressured dude-man with a very beautiful barometric tactic! So good!
Final moments, quick commentary for chess starters: Black King to g5 is winning at 08:07, but the kid calculates under time pressure that he can take all the white pawns - and a better King placement, the "opposition" - to promote his last pawn to a Queen. But the white pawns can also move and the endgame is lost for black with perfect play by both sides. Chess goddess Kaissa blinds the white player who cooperates and the kid wins, executing his faulty plan till the end.
Makes me feel sad that even though I could see the right move he’s half my age, but even then wasn’t till this year I could start seeing moves ahead I have a long way to go, and Jesus I have a sorta kid like him in my chess club, you do not want to see them lose
At 7 I didn't even know the rules of Chess. Now I am 11, and I act as if I am a professional at chess, while all I use is the Scholar mate technique over and over again. It never works.
For all of you critically criticizing the kid, the majority of you could hardly even read aloud at 7 years old much less even begin to understand the most basic principles of chess ♟
They play against the time ~5-15 minutes each player, and ofc the older man has more experience. The kid sacrafice his queen for the older man queen. A good moving queen can make a lot of damage and the kid had more chance to win in late game. And the man accept the queens sacrifice and all other figures too bishop for bishop horses for horses. And in the end the kid had even one pawn more. Against a kid I would never accept the sacrifice and losing my queen. The kid is much better in late game and all 'aggresiv' moves the dude accepted -.-*
He probably was just thinking. It's a habit of me too. Doing stuff with my nails like that makes me concentrate easily. There are times that I massacred my nails and it hurts and went to the point that I couldn't write properly LMAO

Kid has mastered king vs pawn endgame! That's not too shabby! White has to learn 3 pawn push. I can't do it right either! ;)
love how richard just toppled his king in defeat before shaking hands LMAO
That's an insane calculation at the end with sacrificing the took to draw out the king away from the 3 white pawns. Crazy
I would’ve went into that room and screamed “ AWOOOOOOOOGAAAAA “ and flipped everyone’s tables
lol the kid still would have somehow found a way to beat everyone
From 8:11 onwards the kid literally stood up and started playing. The adrenaline rush when we are going to win something as a kid. I can feel u kid. 😂
They were running low on time. No one rushes like that otherwise.
In addition, the boy wasn't winning until his opponent played a4.
@@jeffgreen3376 Ke5 Kf3 Kd4 a4 Kc3 a5 creating a passed pawn and winning
@@nikikiiskinen183 I stand corrected. I didn't see a4-a5-a6, creating an unstoppable passed pawn. Oops. Still, it was a very creatively played endgame, in time trouble. Especially for a 7 year old.
@@jeffgreen3376 Oh, absolutely. Kid has potential!
@@nikikiiskinen183 Yep. I wish I had been that good at 7 years old. I'd be an IM by now.
8:17 damn that kid goes on killing streak by backstabbing those poor pawns lol
That boy got some mad chess skills! WOW!
I want that kid to be my chess teacher
7:26
Kid's mind: Wait! If I this this this and this
A few seconds later.....
Kid: I got it
Big guy: Took you long enough, now I'm going to obliterate you
*Add "Last Surprise" in the background*
Oof! This match was REALLY intense! I liked when the kid hit dude-man with the horse-estershire maneuver but dude-man countered with the double pawn rasengan (which the kid didn’t see coming at all). But ultimately the kid pressured dude-man with a very beautiful barometric tactic! So good!
That kid was amazing. At 8:47 instead of moving the king he should have moved the pawn to finish the game but I guess the kid wanted the queen hahaha
It would be draw if he move the pawn
If king dont have any move but not check its a draw
UA-cam is definitely reading the tags of my watch history right
lmao
Final moments, quick commentary for chess starters: Black King to g5 is winning at 08:07, but the kid calculates under time pressure that he can take all the white pawns - and a better King placement, the "opposition" - to promote his last pawn to a Queen. But the white pawns can also move and the endgame is lost for black with perfect play by both sides. Chess goddess Kaissa blinds the white player who cooperates and the kid wins, executing his faulty plan till the end.
Got a chess ad for this
the kid seems to understand opposition theory intuitively
may i be allowed to know what's that?

at 7, i was trying to watch the fridge light goes off while closing the door slowly.
Makes me feel sad that even though I could see the right move he’s half my age, but even then wasn’t till this year I could start seeing moves ahead I have a long way to go, and Jesus I have a sorta kid like him in my chess club, you do not want to see them lose
That 7 year old is better than me
Respect+
At 7 I didn't even know the rules of Chess.
Now I am 11, and I act as if I am a professional at chess, while all I use is the Scholar mate technique over and over again.
It never works.
That chase to pawn burn his enemies to the ground .... He can't save any pawn....
For all of you critically criticizing the kid, the majority of you could hardly even read aloud at 7 years old much less even begin to understand the most basic principles of chess ♟
That kid has a bright future. He played that endgame like a boss!
white actually had a forced checkmate in 22 before he played Ke2. After that it was a draw, and then after a4 black had forced checkmate in 22.
Ironic
Um... Huh?
@@xdHyperz Of course I didn't find it, I just analyzed the position on lichess
What I meant by that was I was confused about what any of that meant. I barely know anything about chess 😂
@@xdHyperz white has a forced checkmate in 22 means white can checkmate black no matter what in 22 moves or less (depending on what black plays)
Ohh
That kid is too aggressive im kinda pissed off.. Lol And that man just dropping his king like damn it hahahaha.
Its a common trend in kids playing chess to be very aggressive, its just the mindset I think
حسيت
They play against the time ~5-15 minutes each player, and ofc the older man has more experience. The kid sacrafice his queen for the older man queen. A good moving queen can make a lot of damage and the kid had more chance to win in late game. And the man accept the queens sacrifice and all other figures too bishop for bishop horses for horses. And in the end the kid had even one pawn more. Against a kid I would never accept the sacrifice and losing my queen. The kid is much better in late game and all 'aggresiv' moves the dude accepted -.-*
@@ductranviet8712 Gr8 comment. AND time control only 3:02 (FIDE rated).
that girl can watch all 10-20 upcoming moves possibilty, best endgame ever watyched
Both players threw the endgame.
i think that man make mistake in the end he should move the pawn of corner then girl's king cant kill all of his pawn
Meanwhile I’m here not even knowing how to play chess
Same
Wait, what??
3:23 kid plays with his nails. Thinks "Hah! Im gonna win anyways."
He probably was just thinking. It's a habit of me too. Doing stuff with my nails like that makes me concentrate easily. There are times that I massacred my nails and it hurts and went to the point that I couldn't write properly LMAO
Hahahaha exactly
😂😂
This child I think he will has excellent future in chess
8:30 Good move! Would have been a draw if pushed by two squares. This kid does know his endgames.
Why? I’m not that good, could you please explain?

Jimmy ok, thanks!
Do u not accept it's the whites game....I don't see any people commenting the blunder of white. While they all are busy in advertising 7 year endgame techniques .
The Kid is Good.
But the guy is equally Bad.
Wow, amazing play. He knows how to play well. Not afraid to trade at all. Well done.
The kid is like 99999999999999999999999999999999 times better than me. LOL
This is the most interesting chess video I've ever watched!!💐
