I don't know if the "content creator" will ever read this, but just in case. Both I and my cat thank you, this advice made a trip to the vet much less stressful and painful then it would have been otherwise. I take my cat to the vet this am and I bought a huge carrier that’s cloth, has a little soft inside floor and really looks nothing like a cat carrier lol I leave all the doors open she loves to eat her meals in there, lay in it etc. but I’m so scared she’s going to just know she’s going to the Vet & give me a hard time lmao 😂😭

Very interesting, your cats are docile, my cat, one, bites if I try to get to her paws. She was a rescued from 15 cats home, mostly male
and 3 kids. She bit me 3 time's badly, so I am very careful, still would like to trim her nails. It could end by her in the tree
and me in the hospital. Anyway she is improving I managed to take her in my arms and kiss her.........when she is in the mood
and needs food. So for now I continue touching her paws with a spray bottle of water on standby.

I love the name AlcoholCats, because if I'm able to actually get her in the carrier when I get home I will be celebrating with Jim Beam. How do you feel about tossing a large towel over cat and papoosing her? My cat is impossible to catch. I have left both carriers out and open with catnip inside, hoping when I toss a bunch in on morning of vet visit that'll work.

In an ideal world this may work.
I've been putting the carrier out in the room for 6 months with a soft blanket she used to lie on but she never got inside. She won't even get in to get a treat or to play. Catnip doesn't work on her either. She is just very afraid of small spaces. Putting her in a carrier has always been the hardest thing to do.
Try putting her in backwards, back legs first. Cats usually back up when they are pushed into something they don't want, so this usually works pretty well.
Stand the carrier vertically and "drop" her in.
Does not work for me putting it out a week in advance my 7 year old cat ain’t dumb she knows so she runs and hide under bed
