Thanks, Dwayne! I'm working on a CS2511T rebuild. I ran that same saw over with my tractor during a tree removal. I will also be installing a straight pipe in place of the stock muffler in hopes of eking out a fraction more of horsepower. The video will come out as soon as my parts order comes in. Hi Judy!!! 😊 I hope you're doing well. Hi Wayne, it's a coincidence that you were tuning up your saw, as I was just doing that yesterday with my Chinese saw. She's old, and has sat in my shed for 2 years without being used. Pulled it out, cleaned it up a bit, but she wouldn't start. So after digging around a but, I had no spark that the plug. She was oil fouled and glazed. Gave it a touch of sand paper at the electrode and Ta Da! Spark. I'd have replaced it but I couldn't find an equivalent plug locally and didn't want to order one. Long story short, she fired right up after that and so I can use it once again. It's a good thing, too, because I sent my Poulan 5020 went to a new home yesterday. I wish you two good luck in finally getting the 13 acres, and for Suzie to get a job closer to SM Heartland. Love you both! 💓

Hey WP, I have the same Echo trimmer with assorted attachments, it’s great. A little cantankerous at times when ya don’t use it frequently, otherwise, it never lets me down. Like you, I use fresh fuel and tune it up every year, especially the fuel filter. Good vid that applies to any two stroke maintenance- thanks for the content. Will add u to my prayers Judi, keep faith in life’s journey and when saddened by its events we don’t understand, appreciate the gifts in your life. @@WaynePolcin sorry I was talking about the chain guide reference, lenght end d'iamiter to buy the same one because I see that it s suitable with the chainsaw cs2511tes My guide is 25cm and it is too short I'm looking for one that is 30cm or 35cm
@WaynePolcin yup did that. The ring part doesn't seem to want to go flush with the clutch even when I tighten the bolt. Part of the plastic around that inner ring is broken so I might just return it.
@@cyclonus01 Did you by chance have the chain brake on (forward) when you pulled off the clutch cover? I made this mistake and couldn't get it back on either. You have to have the chain brake off (back) when you take the cover off as that leaves the brake loose enough to put back over the clutch when you put it back on.
@steveandandreaelms8400 no the clutch cover got damaged it seemed part of the plastic. I ended up returning this chain saw and got the 355 echo instead.
True, but not me. It costs nearly $1000 to get the saw and two batteries. I can buy three CS-2511T saws for that price. If I were a bigger operation I would consider it.
No muffler mod on the 2511 ? Man those things have so much potential with some port work. I have sent out at least 10 over the years. Haven’t gotten one back yet. The first one I done was around 3-4 years ago. I sold my 201 after buying my own and porting it. I love it!
Very good presentation. But, please include more accurate Chain install instructions, That is, if your intention is to educate newbees. 1- ?engage the wood with high or low end of the cutters leading into the wood - ('mentalizing' - hi end suggests clogging at low end of tooth; and low end engagement suggests easy chip exhaust), 2- specifying the top or bottom of the chain bar, 3- the inner chain teeth shaped to engage the bar-sprocket in only one direction. thanks and good job otherwise

Just bought one of these tried it once and the chain came off. Now I'm having an issue getting the clutch cover back on.
Make sure you loosen the chain tensioner screw before trying to put the clutch cover back on.
@WaynePolcin yup did that. The ring part doesn't seem to want to go flush with the clutch even when I tighten the bolt. Part of the plastic around that inner ring is broken so I might just return it.

Check your spark arrestor to make sure it is not clogged with carbon
