I love their choice of depressing movie trivia during the breaks. “Which of Peter Jackson’s parents died during production of LoTR? Answer: Both.”
Fun fact: This bit of trivia was actually recycled from last year's breaks.
@@gritch-county-water-authority On Cinema heads noticed that right away. This is why our expertise is so valued.
Brutal
@@gritch-county-water-authorityyup, it’s so funny that I remember the moment I laughed at it in the season 3 special, like how you remember the the first time you heard a song.

I love how Tim is infinitely more mad at Dr. San for the James Dean DNA test than he was when Dr. San caused the death of Tom Cruise Jr.
Huh? Dr San did everything he could to save that child.
As he should have been! He screwed and embarrassed Tim when he was at his most vulnerable, live in front of millions of viewers with that DNA test.
TCjr was weak and couldn’t cut it. That’s not Dr. San’s fault- he did everything he could for the Heidecker family.
Dr San applied crystal after crystal- so many crystals- but to no avail.
@@skullingtonturtle8080 TCjr wasn't weak! He was an aspiring actor and model, and he would have been a global superstar.
Now I agree, this wasn't Dr San's fault. This was the fault of vaccines. TCjr even told us so himself when he was digitally re-created.
The blame lies with Dr Fauci, not Dr San. Hopefully when the true patriots retake this beautiful nation, we'll have someone like Dr San running the show instead of those corrupt CDC elitists.
Dr San basically performed the abortion that Tim wanted back when Ayaka was pregnant. Tim loved San because Tim made a ton of money and got his abortion making him free again. it's pretty twisted lol

It is an allegory for our life and times.
That is my favorite recurring sketch
It was a great story of one of the most controversial hostile takeovers in the history of international commerce.
His toddler son died less than four months prior and he’s “never been happier.”
It was bittersweet but it happens
TCH is in a better place.
That’s reason enough to celebrate.
Sometimes the passing of Tom Cruise Heidecker really gets to me. But I remind myself that the real Tom Cruise is still alive, and that makes me feel a lot better.

Having rewatched these at least like 5 times each, I can say without a doubt that the 4th oscars special is the best. A run time of 185 minutes really gives you your bang for your buck and the special effects of TCH guarantees there won't be a dry eye in the house. Six bags of popcorn and a Decker spinoff in heaven for TCH to have a bit part in.

It's a real song apparently lol "You Are The One" by Last Second Chance. I love that they are a legit project lol
@@benstarzxxx The verse melody is a rip off of "Zombie" by the Cranberries.
I missed it, I was takin’ a shit
I was expecting it to be shit. It's actually not a bad song and axioms a nice singer. The fact Tim ruins the band kinda makes it even funnier
@@coolname8133 Tim is the real talent in the band what the hell are you talking about?
I'm so fascinated by what sort of production goes into these specials, and the direction given to the cast. So many little quirks and things, like at 2:03:07 where Joe struggles with the rules of the game because what's written is different from what Gregg is saying. Was Joe genuinely confused? Was he directed to contradict what Gregg was saying? Was that improvised? This is what keeps me up at night.
Me too man. Me too
I imagine Tim, Gregg and Mark improvise most of their stuff with a broad idea of where the scene needs to go but I think the scenes with the other actors are a bit more rehearsed. That being said, the entire cast is amazing in these things, especially the "fans" they bring in for not cracking up when on camera.

You can see Tim and Gregg trying to hide a little smirk whenever the other does something they didn't expect. I believe Tim when he said he didn't know what the finale Gregg had planned was.

Tim is such a great bass player that he can play lead guitar solos with his bass.
Doing my annual rewatch in preparation for the 10th annual special. And I'm now positive this is the best. 2,3,6 and 7 are also standouts
Can’t forget 5 and The Trial of George Lucas
Zero hour and the Newman Wedding both bring tears to my eyes
@@JoeSmith-hv7oe Jaws 2 aka Close Encounters of the Third Kind
All these years later, I can't but notice that this is one of the few times Gregg was already so hot-headed coming in, he didn't even say, "Hey Guys!"
I marathon all 4 of these at least 10 times a year.
Mondo Prime FUCK YEAH
Same!!!!
You people are all my people.
Just 10? Amateur...lolol...
I watch one of these daily and I watch Apocalypse Now! and The Big Lebowski monthly. Im kind of a film buff myself which is why this show appeals to me so much. The dedication to cinema is addicting. Like a film reel this show just keeps puting out solid EXPERTISE.
31:10 always good to see Gregg break when he's center stage and not walking/turning away, or off camera
Also congrats on Mark for being able to crack everyone up (seemingly) with ease
The debate on chili vs. chowder is the most brilliant thing on the internet.
Also, I could've listened to the business history of Chaplin's Chili and Chaplin's Subs for dozens of more minutes.
That final *GOOD NIGHT* at 3:04:44 was so funny but disturbingly genuine … gave me flashbacks of my dad going ballistic 😂
Seeing Tom Cruise Heidecker all grown up, I could not stop crying and crying... Rest in piece, little guy
It's sad until you remember that the real Tom Cruise is still alive and thriving.
1:44:03 "Gregg, calm down, nobody here to n-n we're not enemies - we're friends-"
Gregg, "Tell that to Mark!"
(errrruuuguhghghghghghgGGHGH--DAAAA DAAAAAA!!!!!)
Tim, "...Excuse me?"
perfect timing
I have no idea how that perfectly timed silence before the 'excuse me?' Didn't absolutely blow their character in laughs.
@A. Fleck yes
The ending of this video was beautiful, it was surreal. It was as if all the players in Tim's life were applauding his performance in a play which he did not intend to be in. He could shout and scream but it made no difference, it all added to the act. He became the portrait of a truly powerless man.

when Gregg breaks during the popcorn classic, holy shit 31:00
Tim started it :)
First time, I've ever seen him totally lose it. Though I understand they do have to edit the regular show to edit such stuff out.
I think he was just thinking a lot about how pathetic a 48 year old man cherishing a VHS tape of Kuffs must really be.
It's probably the funniest moment in this one
Mac Urban I think it was that combined with the fly/bee costume on the monitor lol
How could I have lived for 34 years and not ever been recommended these absolute, absolute golden nuggets of comedy? This is like the best thing I've ever seen.
I just love how they heavily imply throughout that Tim broke Mark’s nose, but never outright say that happened
Oh shit i never got that
@@MrNinjaone1 It’s implied in Gregg’s “Like mark?” After Tim threatens that he’ll make him feel the consequences for a long time.
