Listened to a lot of performances but this one is by far my favorite. So expressive and unlike so, so many others, Hans Sotin doesn't slow down towards the end - the finale has to be a rollercoaster that doesn't stop until the very last note. Bravo!
@@grouchomarx5609 don’t you think that it is slightly overacted? Specially his face expressions? I think you can even play a buffa role like the Bürgermeister out of Zar und Zimmerman with a little bit more authenticity and simplicity which even would make it more funny. But maybe it’s just a question of taste. Ps.: yes I know the piece. I sung it and I’m German 😉
