I love how in this 'Best Moments', it has the time when Baldini got a sick flick against him and that time when he straight up charges into Le Pechoux.
Gawd dayum! A montage of Mr. Oddball himself (yes that was Byung Chul Choi's actual nickname from his days as a fencer). Yes, in the world of foil fencing you will get some guys who are beautiful to watch, then you get fencers who have a very unconventional style or are very ugly in their style....and then there's Choi. XD! Say what you will about him, Choi was very, very good at what he did, having come from that Korean style of fencing his point control was very precise even if his fencing was so awkward. In saying that, I do miss him. I remember he briefly returned on the circuit in the hopes of qualifying for Rio most likely but that did not happen. At the very least from what I know he's a coach now at his own club in Korea. I can't wait until the day he is able to train some students up to an international level and then see how his style shows in his students.
As a Sabre fencing who enjoys watching foil, it is actually really funny watching him do a Korea hop in foil 😂. It feels out of place and very unorthodox, I mean it works in a way.
He appeared in a South Korean variety show called Masters in the House along with 4 other top athletes in 2020. He said he's a bit smaller than his competitors so came up with ways to compenstate for that while keeping to the rules. He did a demo with the number 2 (junior? as he seemed to be around 16yo-ish) national champ and it was amazing (he got winded quickly) but held his own.

It's part of the best! Hahaha :P
didn't even realize that was Le Pechoux before seeing this comment 😅

Luke Mitchell wow i didn't know he was such a colorful character on the piste, i just knew him as the guy who beat baldini for bronze in London

His footwork irks me
He started to do the craziest footwork in London 2012! 4:24 was my favorite hahaha 😂
2:19 was probably the weirdest and funniest shit I ever saw in fencing.
